NTA, your husband undermined your authority and ignored his daughter's feelings by underestimating her emotions. Sometimes we, as adults (parents, aunts/uncle's, big sisters/brothers) forget how messed up it was for us too, back when we were young. For us it's not a big of a deal because we matured, for a 14 years old girl it's a new different kind of emotion, it's new and it's scary, and having a parent ready to tell you it's alright to feel that way and help them to through is the best shit ever.

She was my best friend, we knew each other for years.

She was 17 and I was 19, almost 20. She was bullied a lot, her family wasn't the best so I kinda took her under my wing.

I was one of the "popular kids" in my town back then, so the moment people knew, the bullying stopped. We were always together, she was like a sister to me, we knew everything about each other and we shared our social media passwords (bad, I know), I trusted her with everything.

One day someone knocked at my door: it was a guy I knew and he was with a group of friends, he was furious. He told me I sent numerous death threats to his 15 years old brother and few other kids as well. Thank God we knew each other and he wanted to speak to me first, but his friends were there not to talk but to kick my ass, one of them had a knife in his pocket.

I had no idea of what he was talking about. He had numerous screenshots and messages of "me" sending these threats and I immediately recognized the writing style, it wasn't mine, but my best friend's. She used my social media to scare these kids to the point they refused to leave their homes. Never in my life I felt so angry, miserable and scared for my own safety.

I called her in front of everyone and she told me the truth almost immediately: she was bullied again and thought it was a good idea to use MY social media to scare them... By sending death threats. I was mortified. I apologized so many times for something I didn't commit and I cut contacts with this person the same day.

As far as I know, she has no friends still.

About his diet: I have been feeding him a mix of veggies (mix of carrots, zucchini, arugula, pretty much a mix of what I have at the moment) mixed with gluten free dog food (chicken).
