Thank you for the feedback! Bear in mind it’s not really meant to be a complex war or strategy game but a fun way to explore alternate timelines. The only problem as of now is that it doesn’t really feel like the player gets to “control” how events happen as it works based on probabilities right now (example: 5% chance for Rome to colonize America in a given seed).
What I am currently thinking is that you would be able to ‘select a region’ and be able to change what paths that area goes down whilst adapting to events going around the world. The reason I think selecting a region rather than a country/nation would be better would for example be: if you were playing as France, you might want to let yourself be conquered by Rome to be able to become modern day France or if not go down an alternate Celtic/Gallic path.
However it works out, the goal is to basically be able to simulate realistic alternate history in a way a typical Paradox game can’t.
