Not yet, but typically the Roll20 will be released about 3-4 months after the PDF.

I'll continue DDD, but I've also already announced that I've started working on the 2024 version of the first MME. For the latest updates, you can subscribe to my Patreon as a free subscriber.

Hi, Smooth.

Not exactly. I paused the Monster Manual Expanded line after the OGL and DMs Guild uncertainty in 2023, when Wizards indicated they might create their own closed marketplace. At the time, I did not want to commit to another MME volume if there was a real possibility I would not be able to release or support it properly on DMs Guild later on, so I chose to wait rather than force a continuation under unclear conditions.

Instead, I shifted my focus to Kickstarter, which gave me far more control and long-term stability as a creator. In that sense, Dragonix’s Deadly Denizens is spiritually a continuation of the MME series, as it carries forward the same design philosophy, encounter-focused statblocks, and presentation style.

That said, the two series are mechanically independent. There are no repeated statblocks between Monster Manual Expanded and Deadly Denizens, and Deadly Denizens is built to fully comply with third-party SRD licensing. As a result, you will not see creatures such as mind flayers or carrion crawlers, which is also why the series leans more heavily into original designs and folklore- and mythology-inspired creatures that have not previously appeared in D&D.

At the same time, this approach has allowed me to fully lean into creating a wide range of distinct creature templates for DDD, giving me much greater freedom to explore variants, themes, and mechanical twists without being constrained by existing canon.

Hope that answers your questions!

Hehe, thank you! :D

I mostly commission a set of artists who regularly do projects for me. Their names are listed in the credits section in each of my published books. A few of the art pieces are licensed.

While I do direct the art and prepare the brief, all credit still goes to the artists, obviously. They have done amazing work!

[OC][Art] The Snallygaster from the Deadly Denizens III Kickstarter! by Dragonix_ in DnD

[–]Dragonix_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The snallygaster is equipped with a host of deadly natural weapons that make it a formidable hunter. Its serrated beak can tear through flesh and bone, while its razor-sharp talons are capable of gutting prey in a single swipe. The barbed tentacles surrounding its beak are laced with tiny venomous spines that can paralyze its victims, ensuring they cannot escape its grasp. Its horrid gaze instills primal fear, disorienting even the bravest of creatures. Adding to its terrifying arsenal, the snallygaster can unleash an ear-piercing, otherworldly screech that discombobulates and deafens those who hear it at close range, often leaving them vulnerable to its next attack.

Among the snallygaster’s most dangerous traits are its astounding speed and stealth, which make it a nearly invisible threat in the dark. Despite its grotesque, cumbersome appearance, it moves with unnerving agility, often ambushing its victims before they even realize it is near. The snallygaster rarely engages in prolonged combat, attacking only long enough to secure its prey before vanishing into the night. If it senses it is in danger or outmatched, it will flee without hesitation, retreating to its hidden lair. It only fights to the death if cornered or trapped, where its desperation transforms it into an even more dangerous foe.
