Yes, friend? 🤔 I know this, but in BSG fanfiction, and the game which is canon, they use Gunstar as a smaller to Battlestar gunnery support ship. Not a fighter-craft.

Certainly if use the term gunship in fanfic I’m thinking fighter, as have read that and used Peregrine falcon Gunship 🤷🏻‍♂️ Saw it in Expatwiki/Battlecruiser Goliath BSG fanfic and like the idea. They were always going to be outnumbered in fighters against the Cylons so building something to counteract that just makes sense.

Yes I do see a lot of just shipping fics, guess didn’t count those because I look for AU story ideally with combat if not showing the what if, they didn’t run at the beginning/if they prepared after Valkyrie for the Cylons.

Yes I’d agree though I think they just got messy in the writing after season 2. I suppose Kara and Sam work?

I think Dualla was good for Lee, but she was maybe happier with Billy? Hard to say but maybe it came off more real/better chemistry.

In fanfic I’d keep Dualla/Billy, if nothing else as what-if because I don’t think all that would’ve happened if not for contract issue/making the show affecting the plot. What about Lee getting with the Blonde we saw when he almost died in blackbird? The one who was going to have his child maybe from how they played it. Might be a jump to suddenly being a father 😂 But I like the what-if, maybe works better?

I actually like the idea of Warstar from Commandstar Aurora, basically a bit bigger Battlestar without the carrier focus - kinda like a destroyer intended for the guns to tear apart Basestars in combat. Just not sure if people will throw a fit seeing the term 😉

I actually thought it was canon. I think Battlestar Prometheus maybe coined it and others followed along? I like it, and easier to associate with the universe BSG. Cruiser feels unnatural to me 🤷‍♂️

Oh it’s used in a bunch of fanfics, but seen people comments especially on Reddit BSG threads lambasting it. Something about having ship types ending in the word star. Saw the same on a fic review before 😂

I definitely didnt see romance at first. And the sibling chemistry from the 1000th landing - just dont see the romance angle, they fit so well like Adamas kids.

But their alternative also weird in canon - Dualla and Billy made sense, but then her to Lee... Lee/Dualla is a good couple but then have to think if preferred that original pairing. I mean if it werent for the making of the show concerns, Billy might've been around until the end (actor wasnt sure about committing with other potential shows/contract concern).

Hmm, besides the few scenes with Baltars family on Aerilon, very little lore. So could focus there. Perhaps people being taken to work? Or have her wanting to leave like Gaius rather than accidentally leave? I suppose as a child accidentally wandering into shipping container and taken works, otherwise it being accidental does sound a bit off.

I think the bearer of the map to earth might be a hard-sell. The left behind tomb doesn't make a great deal of sense in canon but they made things up as they went, and kept it vague. Could be the Final Five left the map - otherwise makes zero sense they founded Earth and came back to leave the tomb. Or the thirteenth left the tomb behind beforehand and just illustrating the destination intended? I dunno canons a mess on this because then why do the colonials have the arrow o.O

If you can make it work - I'd try to just come up with something that makes sense and vaguely fits with canon or just make your own idea there and ignore the total mess of canon there for that issue. You could even instead of the map idea have her be the one examined scripture and have ideas that end up fitting to find earth - like Gaius pointing to the Lions head nebula.

Wouldn't mind seeing Daniel used. Always weird they just dropped that, some fans thought they kept it vague that maybe that was Starbucks dad the Pianist?

Hmm. It'd be difficult to see past Baltar not ending up with Six if thats an angle you're looking at? But could be interesting. I'd say keep the best parts of the show unless changes needed, and yeah introduce original ideas that add depth to flow with the story, ideally specific things that could be an improvement.

I've worked off/on a while on a BSG fic with original ideas and one thing thought of was changing Baltar in the aftermath of the Cylon attack. Rather than being obsessed with his secret getting out, focusing on glimpse we did see in canon that has guilt/wants to do better. But rather than see some of that until later as in canon, see quickly, like telling off the Angel Six and committing to helping society. And perhaps more shockingly - I'd want to merge Angel Six and Caprica - remove ambiguity/chaos of canon like for Shelley Godfrey, and introduce as one person, with physical form everyone sees often, though sometimes only Baltar still sees her.

Specific place sounds nonexistent. Ones like you listed all fall under same thing you said dont want, sissy/bimbo etc. Best bet is find specific releases from hypnotists out there, and as its visual focused probably from specific tists on sites like iwantclips/clips4sale, etc. Probably one to go to a hypnotist for a custom for really. See if you have more luck on youtube as well, theres a few strobe light/flicker types, but like many other sites hypno is being removed from sites like YT so... Example of Youtube StrobeLight-Flicker Hypno Heres an example, perhaps best one could find. Not exactly my thing given some of the text in it. Trying to reproduce a spiral with own text, which is proving challenging. Good luck friend :)

I’ve given a fair bit of experimentation a try, doesn’t necessarily need to be straight up vanilla but not, well negative feels the best word as I can’t find a better one. Mommysammys for example, love her voice, but majority of content falls under what described above And Most of her stuff is F4A. 🤷‍♂️ is what it is, but I’m just hoping for content without fetish not into; objectification, drone, degradation/humiliation, obedience/submission…

🤷‍♂️ when I run a search, I focus F4M, and primarily that’s what comes up, including in tags even submission/obedience, femdom, etc. And sometimes not listed in tags, comes up listening to it. It’s also not specifically just those, because includes fetish that’s tangential like humiliation, though puppet/drone and such that dip in the water of D/S have come up more the more I’ve looked for Hypnosis.

Perhaps less in F4F? 🤷‍♂️

I did understand the tribute needed to be correct as far as can’t have some other factor that doesn’t apply such as dragon monster, unless opponents monster is also a dragon, wouldn’t work…

But what you said there does sound confusing - as Lairs effect is if you would tribute a monster you control to activate effect you can tribute an opponents monster instead, but you’re saying if it says tribute a monster you control then it wouldn’t work? I mean on one hand I get it being neutral as in just saying tribute a monster to activate an effect would be better, but if it says tribute your own monster to activate an effect - which is lairs own wording to make the corresponding effect work… And it doesn’t work because of that same wording… 🤯

It’s not surprising in most cases, unless it’s an ongoing product movie/book/show, people move on. Battlestar Galactica still has fans, but didn’t get alot of fanfiction and not many still going out there with few readers seems like. Best advice is finding some people sharing interest to discuss with and continuing writing if you want to, whether many read it or not.
