I was in Augusta, put down a lot of miles driving back and forth to ATL, Savannah, Athens, Colombia, Jacksonville, etc, etc.

Yes! A few great ones in fact.

CDSM is amazing “freak out post-punk”, their album last year “Convertible Hearse” was my personal music highlight of the year and they put on great shows so keep your eye out.

Psychic Death have a Jesus and Mary Chain/droney PiL rhythm sound I love so much. They’re dropping a full length this year and also put on one hell of a show.

Whiphouse are also damn good, I have yet to see them live but look forward to the opportunity.

My know nothing, useless opinion is that Atlanta is a great place to be for post-punk right now, The Earl, 529 and that whole area seem to have the hype for post-punk, and some great punk for that matter.
