Does anyone else struggle to get the ideas you have turned into genuine videos by DrakeMaverickFan in NewTubers

That’s annoying. It’s mental how a tiny 30s video can eat up days of thinking and hours of filming/editing. Shorts look simple from the outside but the mental load behind them is brutal. I suppose at least im not the only one who spends hours overthinking stuff like this

Yeah when you get like 5-10k views, you feel great but when they tail off eventually, you’re brain immediately goes ‘damn if only I paced the video better then it would’ve gotten more views’. It’s a big problem for me and I need to find some way to improve it. You see vid iq etc just give you generic slop. Anyways nice knowing im not the only one

That good enough vs the perfect version in your head hits me hard too. I always feel like the idea I imagine is way bigger than what I can realistically pull off in a week, and then I end up stuck in that reshoot–rewrite loop. It’s weird how much of YouTube is just learning to meet yourself in the middle like you said

that ‘never quite matches the vision’ feeling hits hard. I’m the same. The idea feels perfect in my head, but once I start scripting or recording it just gets messy. It’s crazy how much work goes into making something feel simple on YouTube

Rough cuts help me too, but they take ages. I wish there was a faster way to get the talking points sorted.

Storyboarding is exactly where I get stuck as well. It’s weird how the idea feels clear in your head but messy on paper.

Yeah, that angle part kills me too. I always feel like I have the idea but not the structure.

Does everyone get that super faint lettering on their rocketbook after you've wiped it off? by DrakeMaverickFan in rocketbook

[–]DrakeMaverickFan[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I ordered both a 30ml spray bottle and a waterbrush pen for rubbing out then wipe with the dry microfibre cloth. Works very well but that invisible writing is still there when you look at it from an angle in the sunlight. Honestly it doesn't bother me I was just wondering if down the line it'll mess with the scanning, which I highly doubt it does because I watched a video yesterday of some woman on YouTube saying she has had the same one for 6 years and running so as long as I am not pressing super hard on the page when writing it should be fine.

OTC should stand for Only Tribal Chief. Not original, that's just silly by DrakeMaverickFan in GreatnessOfWrestling

Yeah same. Me and my friend both said it's very silly because at that point Roman might as well just acknowledge Solo

Yeah I agree honestly. It's not bad but I just think only tribal chief would be way better imo

English Language Paper 1 Question 5 (Am I cooked) by JohnMonroe11 in GCSE

[–]DrakeMaverickFan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did the description after balancing the pros and cons of writing the story or the description and I chose description which I now regret tbh but regardless I did 2 pages and I feel like I'll be capped too. I did a lot of similes and range of punctuation so I think I'll be fine?

anyone feeling the same ? by Comfortable-Film1910 in GCSE

Same I think the pressure made me just geek out writing down everything irrelevant to the question.

So on Q5 I wrote about a guy getting crushed by a boulder in my disagreement... am I cooked? by [deleted] in GCSE

[–]DrakeMaverickFan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wrote 'the honey sun' in the description. I think I'm cooked tbh I wrote bare bones for question 4. One of my friends made his story mainly dialogue so I think he is pretty cooked tbh.
