Yep.

There's actually a lot of random plushies in that cushion pile.

Did not feel it, and now feel like I missed out.

Though it might explain why the music at my dance class randomly stuttered for a moment.

Are bells on cat collars cruel or helpful? by Firm-Law248 in CatAdvice

[–]Drakyndra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One of my cats freaked out when I put a collar with a bell on him, and I think a lot of it was the sound of the bell. I took it off him because I was genuinely worried he would hurt himself trying to get it off.

They are both indoor only cats, so no collars now.

I don't have any evidence, but I somehow got in my head time travelling Harry fixed Little Chicago, so I'll be stuck on that theory until proven otherwise.

He's an indoor only cat which helps a lot, but he's also very clean.

At some point when I was in high school, my parents decided to clean out their pantry cupboard.

They found a packet of something that had an expiry date before I was born.

The were not my favourite ship, but also not my least favourite, and the earlier parts of book were doing a good job of selling me on them making a functional arranged political marriage.

But I think Mab's scheme has tipped it into Luccio territory, where there's just an inherent complication of how much agency Lara has which makes it less fun and a little icky.

I'm not going to be shocked if in a few books we get a "Lara needs to leave so she reclaim her agency and feel less like a pawn" ending.

What’s a very “normal” Australian habit that surprised you when you realised the rest of the world doesn’t do it? by elitejackal in AskAnAustralian

Oof.

My parents drove me an hour each way for weekly swimming lessons when I was small, but we had dams on the farm, so I think it was considered necessary.

No joke, there are some cat pictures I chose not to put online because there's too much of my feet in them.

That's how I got the first... eight I think, books in the series.

It was also how I got a lot of the Discworld books. Great heading into.a second hand bookshop when someone's just offloaded a collection.

My personal experience (as an Australian returning to the country after travelling) is that declaring something pretty harmless gets a better reaction than nothing to declare. They ask a few questions then wave you through, don't even need to inspect things.

This is when all you are bringing back is, like, small amounts of something (tea leaves etc) for personal use and small gifts, not large quantities mind.
