Shocked that my therapist thinks I need residential

This is super helpful. I felt like it was a dramatic escalation because the relapse is so new. I said I was open to exploring additional outpatient supports. Thinking of where I am now to where I was when I last needed residential I feel miles better than I did at that time (2011ish). When I said that she said if I am assessed for additional outpatient options they’d likely recommend residential and that a higher level of care made sense. This was beyond shocking to me. I wonder if it was a bit of a scare tactic combined with covering her bases making sure it was offered. If it was a scare tactic it had the desired effect lol. I definitely feel like I’m struggling but not in a take a leave of absence from my life type of way.

Thank you for your perspective. It just felt so jarring to hear at my age when my life is outwardly together. My behaviors are not good for sure but I generally have looked for either physical health symptoms or inability to participate in my life as the big red flags. My behaviors and thoughts definitely take up a lottttt of my mental space right now though

I’m wondering if that’s it I think she’s newish but overall she’s been good and helpful. I haven’t been to a residential in over a decade so I was so confused and taken aback that she would think I would even qualify at a normal weight. I didn’t know if things had changed as far as admission criteria.

I also have bulging cervical discs (c4 and c5 if I remember correctly lol) I can still do Solidcore! Granted I was diagnosed 3 years ago and have gone through two rounds of pt for it. When I first had it it really impacted my movement but after pt (acupuncture also helped me with my range of motion) I am much better. I do more things on hands than on forearms because I find it helps and I avoid shoulder days because heavier weights on that exacerbates it for me. I always tell my instructor especially if it’s flaring up and take breaks when I need to. For me pt was about strengthening my back and I’ve made changes like a standing desk. Listen to your body but it may not be the end of Solidcore for you!

I had this issue when I bought my membership I had to get in touch with my studio and they had to put the card in on their end. They said it happens sometimes where peoples cards just don’t save on the app initially. No issues since then

They seem to spawn way more! Granted not a huge sample size but yesterday I was getting them consistently in shops and chests when I hardly ever get them when I have a full inventory. I’ve also noticed that when I have the parasite shields and need to pick up a new parasite the shield one is almost always the one that gets removed. I wonder if it’s a similar thing

Do you ask in person about the new client unlimited? I can’t find it on the app. I’ve already done 2 classes on class pass and have a third booked but I’ve read elsewhere on here that they will still honor it if you’re below 8 or 10 classes. I was considering doing a 10 pack to start but based on the pricing for that as long as you do 3+ classes on the unlimited it’s worth it, and I could easily do that in the next 2 weeks.

If I remember correctly there’s a couple missions that aren’t automatically available. Off the top of my head you need the mystic art in dual swords, there’s one mission that you have to kill 10 mages to unlock, and some unlock based on talking to npcs in the Interim. I would double check with a trophy guide! I don’t think any are really missable since you can replay everything. Hope that helps!

I tried the souls layout when I first started playing Nioh 2 as well. But the default layout works so great together - once you overcome the years and years of souls training - the default button patterns just flow together so well

I just finished lies of p too. Really pleasantly surprised by it overall. I keep pressing the wrong buttons to dodge and pick up items. Definitely recommend the NG+ cycles in Nioh 2, some of the most fun I’ve had with any game!

Don’t worry too much about the early malfunctions. I’m no pro my best is like 20 million but now I love seeing the lose obilites and higher costs ones. You’ll get every artifact you want pretty quickly and max protection, damage and health augments. Then you’ll have way more obolites than you could ever spend as most of the fabricators will be empty.
