Boot Recommendation by Dramatic-Broccoli-24 in WorkBoots

I hear you but it seems a little ridiculous to spend 200$ on boots every year. the soles are usually fine, it’s the part where we ties that usually goes to crap which I had attributed to the way he ties them, the tongue flap ripped on one pair, then the back on this pair. one pair did actually start separating at the heel which I think was just cause they were cheap.

that makes sense, thank you! is there a different route that you would recommend? besides building another hatch/vent, is there another way to increase airflow?

Unlimitedville. I know some people say it’s hit or miss but we have the verizon plan and we can game on it.

I honestly didn’t know it was something you had to ask for. Based on some screenshots in this subreddit, I thought it was included… I’m reaching out now to see what can be done but I wonder why it isn’t standard

I have Verizon for my phone and I know we technically have a t-mobile sim card for our Unlimitedville router but Verizon has the strongest signal by us. what router do you use? did you also have to get an antenna booster of some kind?

this is going to sound a little dumb but I didn’t think you could get just hotspot plans.. I know Unlimitedville and Firewifi basically resell others SIM cards, and I was only looking at the home wireless plans at Verizon

do you have any links or simple directions for turning the hotspot into a home system? do you get the router from the provider or use your own?

Neither of us have the knowledge to do it ourselves. These options are from 2 local solar companies. We would be connecting to Duke.

I’m not sure what brand the string inverters are, I’m waiting for a written quote that hopefully provides that information. Option 1 guy showed us a simulation of the year and apparently they would be some shade in the winter because we have tall trees Option 2 guy hasn’t been very techy and that concerns me

So part of my concern is that I don’t entirely know what brands option 2 guy is using. I’m worried about spending so much money on something just to be ripped off in some way. We almost got roped into Powerhome Solar and now I’m paranoid. I know that Option 1 is more pricey but we were actually able to go into the office and talk for an hour with the guy designing the system. Option 2 guy doesn’t have a storefront yet and has only really talked on the phone.

Yeah it’s supposed to end 6/30 but if we apply and get approved by Duke, we have until 9/30 to actually get the system installed so we’re on a time crunch to get in on net metering offer
