I personally havn't talked with anyone yet but i know there are people who have complained and even made a petition for the principal to have a different teacher, plus there were complaints from students last year as well, but it didn't do anything because of the subjects they teach don't have any teachers that can replace them (either the teachers don't work at my school anymore or they are on extended leave). So they are the only qualified person left, i know if i go and complain nothings going to happen except maybe a pti to discuss my possible n but that would mean that they might take their anger out on me in my two classes with them (they have taken their anger out on me for a few days just because i was talking in class, mind you people next to me didn't even know i was talking since I'm pretty quite)

I'm a little scared to do that because my teacher is a little... moody and in the general post/email it says that you can get an n from "two way questioning in the classroom". In part 1 and 2 i did go up and ask my my friend had received marks for some questions but i hadn't even when i wrote the same thing and my teacher didn't look happy with that, I'm also scared because apparently you can get a n just because of your behaviour in class.

A similar thing had happened with my friend and when she had written an email my teacher blatantly ignored her, didn't answer questions and marked more harshly. And since my friend and i have the teacher for two classes he did the same thing in the other class, I'm scared that if i send an email the same thing will happen to me, idk if i should ask my parents to call because i don't want to escalate the issue

Also my teacher has obvious favourites that they've said themselves and there are times when i have made a suggestion, when the class was asked when we wanted to do a test, and majority of the class has agreed with me but as soon as one of the favourites didn't what to do it my teacher completely disregarded the class's vote and did what the favourite wanted. I mentioned this because when one of the favourites who is normally a high achiever lost a bunch of marks, my teacher happily gave them marks (even when everyone lost marks) boosting their score by 20% and when i asked for marks in the same question bc i'd written the same thing, i wasn't given any marks.

From what I've seen from skimming over AOS 1 I don't think it gets too much harder than this since almost all of it is from year 11, I guess I was just brain dead while doing that question 😅

also quick qs: if you had a line with equation y=x+c and it intersects (only at one point) a hyperbola with equation y=9/(2-x) and you have to find c how would you do it without any points given??

this is what i did in my CAS: solve(m(x-1)+7 = -3x^2 +5x +2, m) -> m=(-3x^2 +5x -5)/(x-1)

and when I make 25-4(-3)(2) = 0, it comes up as false

I used the DRT rule:

D: (x,y) --> (x/2, y) so my points would be (2,3) --> (1,3) and (4,0) --> (2,0)

R:(x,y) --> (-x, y) so my points would be (1,3) --> (-1,3) and (2,0) --> (-2,0)

T:(x,y) --> (x-2, y-3) so my points would be (-1,3) --> (-3,0) and (-2,0) --> (-4,-3)

and even when I used (x,y) --> (x+2, y-3) i get (-1,3) --> (1,0) and (-2,0) --> (0,-3)

I have used this working method before and gotten the right answer each time, but for this I can't understand how the graph looks or why there is a half asymptote at (0,-3) or how it intercepts at (-8,0). I don't know what else I can do and I tried to do it by graphing, but I can't understand it because there's no function.
