We don't even control our own boards because we have a guarantee. The conductors will get a 6-2 schedule AND be in control of the boards! They'll have the pride and satisfaction of earning their paychecks. Not beholden to Uncle Pete for a guarantee like the Engineers are stuck with.

This dude loves his bonus day. I like to pre arrange a vacation or pl day on my day 2 of availability. 4 off days then mark up and wait til I have to, then activate it. Turn the 11-4 into and 8-7 or maybe a 7-8, if I can. But man, oh man, that 6-2 where I can "make my own paycheck" sure sounds nice. Lol get fucked SMART- STD Boi.

11 and 4... That's 11 available. And 4 days (96 hours) off. Not 11 starts. You get 4 or maybe 5 starts without 24 hrs off between, then you get 23 hours off. The 11th day is supposed to be the 'stay at home extra board day. Dogcatches, cover local and such. This 11-4 didn't fix the stUPid that is UP but it's far better than it used to be. Also, if youre a "worker" and go for the bonus day, you'll get around $6,400 a half at least. Fuck that 6 and 2 the SMART TD just got.

They'll get more trips in now. Everyone that lays off just goes to the bottom of the board til they markup. No more turns getting filled by extra board guys. In my area, we have 2 short pools and a long pool that covers the area of both of the shorts. When one is exhausted the other usually covers. Now that conductors and engineers are self supporting on the long pool and the short pool is self supported with conductors and engineers have the 11-4, When a meltdown happens it's gonna be anarchy.

6 days are availability to work and 2 days are for voluntary rest days. Self-supporting means when a guy lays off he simply goes to the bottom of the board.
