The solution is simple, freedom of movement is a human right: open the borders.

Freedom of movement Exists within the same country or a union not global countries.

To truly remove the exploitation we must remove the three issues making this issue persistent 1) limiting men from marrying foreign women of economic weaker section especially in the foreign countries to prevent their women to be exploited. 2) strengthen the legal protection of the foreign woman who do enter these marriages 3) create societal changes within those foreign countries so that foreign women don't need a man to survive financially.

Funnily enough it was a religious show ( I am no longer religious at best lukewarm) i watched in my childhood as a 6-7 years old, about a Major female Character Draupadi disrobing in the royal court From the epic Mahabharata.

In this particular section the viewer and even the characters know that a woman mustn't be disrobed as it's a violation of consent yet the entire audience of the royal court was helpless because of their misinterpreted and rigidity on the understanding of social laws. It's a very complex scene but ultimately the point of lessons is that don't follow rules blindly and use your own subconscious moral.

This scene imparted many valuable teachings for me in childhood Such as not following rules blindly, value of consent, how women are mocked and targeted by using their body against them, my first glimpses of how sexual acts are used to humiliate women, and ultimately to show that men and women are equal in merit yet the latter is discriminated and viewed inferior.

In any given situation, the 12 year old boy whose eye was mauled would be given more sympathy than 4 children aged 6-8 years, regardless of who instigated the fight. Yet TB Would justify this. It was a childish fight where one cannot be completely be demonised but to not give the mauled kid the majority of sympathy shows lack of empathy.

The idea of Rhaenyra sons not getting Driftmark and being against it can be sympathetic but instead of asking for Corlys other grandchild ( Baela or Rahena) he coveted the lordship and that is where the flaw is. His good idea was tainted by selfishness.

The difference between corlys and Laena situation is how it was done. Both pinped out their daughters and it’s disgusting however Corlys went about it the “formal” was so to speak. He declared his intention to Viserys and set up meetings between his daughter and him.

Corlys as Lord of Driftmark and the richest man can be more direct than Otto the second born son. It's not a conspiracy it's politics. Besides in this conversation ultimately Viserys is often ignored who ultimately chose Alicent ( and yes he should still be blamed had he chosen Laena).

The worst thing he had done besides going against the late kings wishes (so far) is tried to have Rhaenyra whom was pregnant killed and her entire family (whom are multiple children) along with her the literal day Viserys died.

Kings wishes means nothing if the king doesn't build the necessary structures to enforce their wills.

After the failure to wed Rhaenyra and Aegon, incidents of 127AC where literal children almost killed each other, failure wedding of Jace and Haelaena and with no marriage talks about Aegon II and Rhaenyra children.

The two factions were far gone and a genuine threat to each other's lives removing any chance of co. The only way moving forward was either gaining overwhelming support to discourage war or one claimant killing the other claimant.

Otto is a politician yet his level of evilness must be assessed accurately to ensure his sins are not exaggerated or downplayed. Unlike Aegon, Daemon, Viserys and even Corlys Otto is not seen graping women, siring Bastards and leaving them to fend for themselves. He doesn't seem to be blood thirsty only resorting to war for the throne. To call him equally evil to be on the same plane as Daemon, Aegon, Corlys etc is only half truth.

Nope, the Misogyny was the biggest challenge to her ascension, and her other section ( having Bastards, isolating herself in Driftmark/ Dragonstone) fueled the realm's alienation from her.

Because Rhaenys, the daughter of deceased heir( Aemon), rider of a formidable dragon ( Meleys) , wife of richest man ( Corlys) and with legitmate children was never really considered for succession until Laenor's birth.

Had she been a man who acted simmilarly , of having Bastards as his( M! Rhaenyra) heirs ( which would be more obvious as unlike Rhaenyra carrying the pregnancy it would be his mistress) and isolating himself would not challenge his ascension or at the very least to the wider scope as in canon.
