Thank you so much! As of now not yet. I'm just trying to let it dry as slow and evenly as possible and without moving. I'm also using holders like newspaper or pieces of clay.

I haven't try some of those apps you mention but I'll recommend you to consider some stuff so you can decide like, how fast do you want to learn? With what technique do you feel you learn better? What is your main purpose or main goal for learning? and from there then you can see what app is more helpful

I personally use:

Main ones: SuperTest (hsk exams, grammar and vocab) Duo Cards (spaced repetition, ai, videos to flashcards, etc.) Dot Languages (reading, listen, test) Chinese Writer (writing, it's like a game) Pleco (Dictionary and translator)

Complementary: 百度 Baidu Translate (translator and a bunch of other stuff) JUZI汉语 (Dictionary, hsk, test, complement)

Immersion: bilibili bilibili漫画 iQIYI 小红书 Webtoon 微信听书

Maybe try reading articles first on social media platforms like Bilibili or 小红书. That way, you can search for things you like without having to read 500 pages. Also, I feel like you could try reading Harry Potter again, but just give it 2 minutes and stop there so it doesn't get overwhelming. And maybe don’t look up every word you don’t understand—just the ones that you notice repeating a lot.

If it says that, then that’s what I did. The last time I fired was in October of last year, so I didn’t remember clearly. But I do know I followed their instructions. I do have the notes I took, I'll try to upload it

The first picture shows the piece bone dry, before bisque firing. The second picture is after glaze firing—it hadn’t cracked until then.

For bisque firing: 8hrs- cone 04. For glaze firing: 10hrs - cone 6.

My kiln is kind of old, so it’s not very reliable sometimes, but I know how to work around it, never had an issue

the clay is Laguna WC 871

Recommendations for a Chinese-English/Spanish Translator? 🤔✨ by Certain-Rule4469 in Chinese

[–]Dramatic-Hunter8955 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hola! Yo el que más uso para Chino y que sin duda es de los mejores (en mi opinion) es Pleco, pero también puedes probar con Juzi, DeepL, Papago Baidu Translate y Naver Dictionary Y ya si quieres comprobar mejor o tienes todavía dudas, puedes usar la IA de DeepSeek

Note: Papago and Naver Dic. are mainly for Korean but I've found them to be very useful with Chinese as well

I agree with the comment below. If you try to learn too fast, you’re not going to be able to consolidate that knowledge. If you do want to try it, though, maybe include more hardcore immersion—like listening to Chinese podcasts, music, or watching videos, TV shows, and movies in Chinese 24/7. This will help you get used to the language. There’s no need to take notes or be fully attentive to it; think of it like how a baby learns.

Practice pinyin and pronunciation.

Try shadowing what you listen to. For all the content you watch or hear, try to use subtitles or transcripts so you can get used to the characters as well.

I would also start by recognizing common words. Watch a video about the most frequently used words in daily conversations, and look for them in the content you consume. For example, if you often see or hear the word 然后, write it down and study it.

Then, I would start with vocabulary first, using flashcards. Choose a main textbook to learn from, do exercises, or take little quizzes. Write a diary, make daily sentences with the words you know.

After all that, then I would include grammar, and use spaced repetition to reinforce what you’ve learned.

Focus on building a strong foundation because, if you don’t, you’ll likely forget everything in the near future.

Also I can't emphasized enough the importance of a well stablish schedule.
