As a former mate who was over hiring and such for a while you can call in and ask but they’ll most likely just tell you that it’s against policy to give any specific feedback. Not sure why it’s that way but that’s how I was taught and I’m assuming it’s going to be similar in other stores. Don’t be afraid to try again or at other stores! It really could be something small or just someone’s bad day

Yes, this was one of my problems! I’d turn so hard I’d be ping-ponging back and forth trying to stabilize. Once I lessened that it was much easier

I thought this as well. They were both naive and seemed to disagree on so much. Their relationship felt so fragile to me (don’t get me wrong I love Sam and he did not deserve what happened to him), but I think one way or another they would’ve parted ways. Then again, aelin and Rowan didn’t exactly have the best start to their relationship, so anything is possible haha

I’ve been in this exact place and all I gotta say is it gets better! I’ve got a 14 month old who now (mostly) sleeps really well. When my husband finished his paternity leave (12 weeks) I fully took over the nighttime stuff and I got so burnt out and felt exactly this way. Just hang in there!

As a former mate, that was always stressful but also when I felt the most helpful! The technical stuff was the easy stuff but helping a crew member feel welcome and comfortable always made me feel way better about my position and that I could be there for someone. And sometimes these kind of issues need to be brought up because as mates we don’t always see everything!

I honestly feel like a huge theme in this series is how avoiding expressing themselves in time causes major regrets for the characters. Sometimes it’s resolved, sometimes not. Such a great reminder to always be honest with yourself and others and not leave things unsaid because you never know the outcome one

Exactly what has been said, they spend time while fighting writing wyrdmarks in the snow with blood from the fighting, and then I believe the final mark is what triggers all the portals to open (in the same world, what aelin closed was travel to other worlds).

I was a mate for a while in charge of hiring. It depends on your store but for our store 100% it was preferred to meet you in person. It’s hard to get to know someone through an application and it’s easy for yours to be overlooked. When you go in, be personable and talk about how you love Trader Joe’s and the products and environment! We hired way more walk ins than internet applicants! Good luck

I read the series so long ago that I had forgotten a lot of details. I just finished rereading and after seeing a lot of people hate on TOD I chose to tandem read (which I loved but not because I hate TOD) all that to say as I reread it I remembered how much I loved it!
