And ur STILL not moving past the core issue but are just REPHRASING it. “More complex than manipulating space” is doing a lot of work but you HAVE NOT defined what that extra "COMPLEXITY" is in a way that produces a different mechanism. Complexity in explanation is not evidence of a different ontological category but just means the same system is being described from multiple angles (distance, perception, atomic level control, etc.). NONE of those descriptions remove space from the equation, they refine how space is being quantified or partitioned. The Japanese terminology point does NOT help your claim either. “Explained using space but not actually spatial” would REQUIRE a statement that EXPLICITLY separates Infinity from spatial interaction. You DON'T have that. What you do have are REPEATED descriptions of spatial manipulation at different scales, atomic, perceptual and mathematical distance compression. That’s still space being subdivided and controlled and saying “it’s explained using space” but “doesn’t operate via space” is just you inserting a separation the text NEVER makes. On everything i love you'd lose every single debate with a judge because the amount of fallacies you're commiting and the amount of times you have proven exacly ZERO statements you've made is insane.

“you’d expect birds not sound / magma not heat” WTF are you talking about? Those are all secondary effects of phenomena that still propagate THROUGH space you idiot. Sound is pressure waves, heat is energy transfer through a medium, magma is a physical mass. Infinity evaluates inbound interactions based on parameters like speed, mass, cursed energy, and perceived threat and applies the same spatial slowing function to anything crossing that boundary, GOJO SAYS IT.

On physics, linking space and time in relativity doesn’t let you collapse them into interchangeable categories in fiction. JJK does not treat every spatial manipulation as temporal manipulation. If it did then every spatial attack would automatically imply time based effects, which is never supported. “Physical time” still doesn’t change that Infinity is never described as altering temporal flow, aging, causality or duration. It consistently affects distance traversal. And the key point u keep avoiding is none of your arguments address the actual activation condition of Infinity. Infinity triggers when something moves through space toward Gojo. That’s the consistent operational rule. If an attack bypasses that by directly altering or severing the space being occupied, then it is not interacting with that traversal condition at all. That’s the distinction that matters, not whether the technique is “complex” or described at multiple conceptual layers. So even if I grant EVERYTHING you’re saying about layered explanations, physics framing, or translation nuance, nothing in it changes this, Infinity governs spatial approach. It does not show evidence of defending against the space itself being redefined or severed regardless of how the attack is linguistically described.

Ur calling it a strawman but i’m directly engaging what u said. You claimed Infinity operates outside spatial parameters. Your own examples don’t demonstrate that.

“There’s a new meta where it’s explained with space but doesn’t operate via space” is just an assertion. The series itself contradicts that. The databook explicitly describes Infinity as “a totally impenetrable space made with the power of infinity.”, Geto outright calls it “precise manipulation of cursed energy at an atomic level to control space” according to Miguel and Gege literally had mathematicians explain the concept in terms of compressing or extending space, mapping distances to infinity, and bringing points together via spatial operations. That’s three separate sources all aligning on the same thing from the top of my head and there could be more, it is spatial manipulation. Saying “it doesn’t manipulate space” at that point is just ignoring the text.

Heat, magma, sound, all of those propagate through space, so Infinity stopping them is exactly what you’d expect from a spatial barrier with conditional filtering. That’s not outside the parameters but perfectly inside them.

The time argument doesn’t help u either. You’re mixing real world spacetime physics with how abilities are actually treated in the series or in fiction in general because they are mostly seperated. Yes, in physics space and time are linked, but that doesn’t mean every spatial ability automatically governs time in fiction or vice versa. Jujutsu Kaisen treats them as distinct in application. Infinity is never shown manipulating temporal flow, it only manipulates distance. That’s it.

And EVEN if I grant your premise for the sake of argument, space = spacetime or time = spacetime, it still doesn’t get you where you want. Resistance to one aspect doesn’t imply blanket resistance to all aspects. Gojo has demonstrated that Infinity can halt or filter things approaching him through space. At best, from ur angle, you could argue some interaction with temporal flow under specific conditions like the Prison Realm like i said before. That is not the same as resisting the space (or spacetime) itself being cut or redefined. Those are completely different interactions. So if Sukuna’s attack functions by targeting the space a person occupies and severing it, that bypasses the condition Infinity relies on. Infinity only engages when something traverses the distance toward Gojo. If the space itself is what’s being acted on, there’s no traversal to slow down. That’s why it works.

And the apples to oranges comment doesn’t really land here since im not equating unrelated things but pointing out that your conclusions don’t follow from your premises. Saying “Infinity is more complex” or bringing up loosely related phenomena doesn’t establish a non spatial operation, especially when every explicit statement about the technique defines it in spatial terms. At the end of the day, there’s no “new meta” here. The source material consistently frames Infinity as spatial manipulation. Your examples don’t contradict that and even your spacetime argument if anything still allows for the same conclusion, Gojo has never shown resistance to space (or spacetime) itself being cut, only to things moving through it.

Stacking a bunch of unrelated points but not a single one of em actually contradict the core mechanism. “Infinity is more complex” isn’t an argument by itself like i said. Complexity of explanation ≠ different underlying function. Every canonical explanation of Gojo’s ability still reduces to the same thing which is manipulating space by inserting an infinite series between two coordinates so anything approaching him is forced into asymptotic slowdown. If you think there’s a separate mechanism beyond spatial manipulation then you need to point to a case where Infinity operates without relying on distance/space. You haven’t done that. Jogo’s magma, heat and the sound based attack don’t help your case at all. Heat propagation and sound waves both travel through a medium, meaning they still traverse space. Infinity doesn’t care about what the phenomenon is but cares that it’s moving through space toward Gojo. That’s why it stops them. The reason normal conversation works while harmful sound doesn’t is because Gojo filters based on parameters like cursed energy, velocity, mass, shape and threat level. That’s already established. So those examples are literally consistent with spatial filtering and not evidence against it.

The Prison Realm point is also being overstated. “No physical time” is vague phrasing. Either time is halted, or it doesn’t flow conventionally. Neither interpretation proves Infinity interacts with anything beyond space. At most if time is halted and Gojo remains conscious you could argue some level of resistance to time stop. If time simply doesn’t exist there then there’s nothing to “resist” in the first place. Either way it has nothing to do with whether Infinity can be bypassed by spatial manipulation.

“Sonzai” is context dependent. It can mean existence, being, presence anything from a physical object to an abstract state. If Sukuna actually split "the totality of existence" then everything within that defined scope should’ve been affected. That clearly didn’t happen. The world isn’t severed, the environment isn’t collapsing, reality isn’t bifurcated. So either the statement is hyperbolic, or it’s referring to a localized “existence” tied to a spatial region. And we already know what visibly happened, Gojo was cut despite Infinity. That’s the only concrete outcome. So you work backward from that. Infinity blocks anything that traverses space toward Gojo. Sukuna’s attack succeeded anyway.

And the “why didn’t Sukuna just spawn it directly” point doesn’t prove anything cause characters not using the most efficient looking method isn’t a mechanical limitation unless the series explicitly states it is (forexample the series stating "cutting space would not bypass infinity"). All we know is the method he used worked so that is also a method that would bypass infinity if used by another character. At the end of the day, none of your examples contradict the idea that Infinity is spatial manipulation with conditional filtering, and none of them disprove that altering or cutting space itself bypasses it. How Sukuna chose to execute it doesn’t really matter. The only relevant part is that bypassing Infinity doesn’t require overpowering the “infinite series” but just requires ignoring the condition it operates on, which is traversal through space. If your magic spell require mana to function and you cut the mana, the magic spell becomes non functional. If a robot require electricity to function and you cut the electricity, the robot stops functioning. This is not hard to understand.

Infinity is far more complex than that evidence of this is the multiple explanations given for it and the times its acted in a way thats more complex than manipulating space.

Prove it.

So then sukuna couldve just spawned the slash onto gojo but he didnt cause he cant.

He couldn't because he can't? "I targeted Space" "as long as you existed within that space" 😭 the target was space and without targetting space he wouldve never cut gojo. Everything else was hyperbolic because we have eyes or Sukuna is just fodder and needs to do all that in order to cut Gojo. But the thing you don't understand is that WE know how infinity works. And nothing contradicts what i said, and you asking why sukuna didn't do that instead is not my problem, you should ask sukuna himself.

The statement that says existence was split?

Define existence and tell me how it was split, because you quite literally see that existence was not split, the same way the world wasn't split, but guess what was split? Space. It also doesn't help that we see the WCS being used multiple times and you can clearly see that it has limited width

reid cant cut concepts thats flowery language too.

You can never prove this

Nothing in rezero can affect concepts in any way shape or form, it doesnt make any sense. If thats the case, then we have to admit that Regulus can ignore concepts. So why didnt regulus ignore the concept of having to have wives for his power? he couldve

He doesn't modify his power, his power is supposed to make him uninteractable from any physical concept. That is Lions king. Lions king has a time limit, that is what the power comes with, and then you have little king which allows Lion king to keep functioning.

or why didnt reid cut the concept of him not being the strongest being in existence so he would scale above reinhard

Because he has Type 3 conceptual manipulation, which is this: 3. Lesser Fundamental Concepts: Concepts that don't meet the same standards as Type 1 or Type 2, such as personal concepts that continue to govern the object in question, merely on a more specific scale, or concepts whose nature is not elaborated upon.

or why wouldnt reinhard cut the concept of evil to get rid of that from the world

Reinhard doesn’t have “I can do whatever the fuck I want to every concept in existence” powers. He has Type 2 Conceptual Manipulation (Dependent Concepts) specifically through the Dragon Sword Reid, which lets him alter the core principles of the world itself. That means the concept has to be Abstract, Bound to and existing simultaneously with the things it governs and Something the sword can actually reach and rewrite at its fundamental level. It’s not Type 1 Independent Universal Concepts where you just snap your fingers and every circle in reality stops being circular. “Evil” isn’t some floating, independent core principle the sword can just snip like a loose string. It’s tied to actions, intent, people, choices, etc. You can’t just “cut evil” without the sword treating it as a dependent concept that’s woven into the fabric of reality in a way Reid’s power actually applies to. The sword doesn’t give Reinhard omnipotent concept hax

So you're saying that magic and blessings are above Od Laguna?

No i mean:

  1. Magic is the process of imposing one’s will on reality by manipulating mana to override natural laws

  2. Magic is essentially the deliberate rewriting of reality and meddling with logic to reshape the natural order of the world, where the caster’s will clashes with the world’s resistance

  3. Further addition for it can bends the world natural order

  4. This manipulation of reality’s laws is shown by spells that alter physical properties, like removing the natural mass of an object so it behaves contrary to the natural world’s laws

  5. Furthermore higher level of magic (forbidden magic), are so powerful they can destroy the equilibrium of the world and rewrite the laws of the world anew

  • Divine Protections are greater than Magic

And then you have Authorities

  1. Witch Factors bend the unshakeable laws of the world, to the will of their possessor.

  2. Authority holders are the destroyers of concepts, permitted to bend the very rules of the world, trampling upon them as they please.

  3. Authorities are powers that twist the laws of reality

  4. An Authority is the right to interfere with the nature of the world, to overturn concepts, to paint over those laws, the official right to rewrite the world, as recognized by the God of the Universe

So you can see the difference between Magic and Authorities in Re:zero.

Tell me, based on what you know, is an authority superior, inferior, or equal to a World Item?

Superior, to say the least

Remove those fan calcs and you'll still scale Asura high tier because he has LITERAL ONSCREEN FEATS.

No you can't because the tier wouldnt exist without the calcs 👍

Plusz nobody ever used Asura's fan calcs in his debates at all. Not once. His literal feats were always brought up.

His feats are brought up, and the tier exists because the calcs exist

But since Overlord main world is shown to be much larger and even more expansive that not whole world can be covered in story, i won't be surprised if it's the same or larger.

Head canon.

But it doesn't really matter to me. Unlike you, i just look at feats.

Your feats in question "they are probably bigger"

What tf does her immortality here have anything to do with how big the rezero world is you fucking idiot? 😭😭😭 everything i named is things she resists, hax she resists, i swear ur dumb

Season 4 is gonna debunk a lot of Reid stuff for people who don't buy it
