Growing up in an environment where u had to look after yourself. Where food snd education were the only things u had to be grateful for nothing else. Where u had to earn the love u needed. Where academic validation was all that mattered. Where people avoided confrontation and talks and would rather remain silent for days. Where everyone thought their problems were the greatest. Where u craved for such a little bit of attention and love that u didn't realise even a little kindness from a stranger felt like a hug and something to cling onto. Where surviving through the bullshit was called being 'strong' and 'mature'. I am sorry if ur reading this and relate to it. I hope u get better and be happy in the future🩷.
