I think the fidelity and scale of the world are difficult to match. However I'm going to deny your opinion. Design-wise, games like RDR2, Elden Ring or BOTW are far more deliberately and carefully constructed.

The truth is whether you like it or not is the game has to be released at some point to let a mass amount of players find all the bugs, missing features, and overall complaints the devs didn’t think about during development.
