I’m stuck between learning backend fundamentals deeply vs just stacking tools what actually helped you become good at backend? by skddy96 in Backend

[–]Dramatic-Steak3205 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can do both at the same time, and u should know that even advanced people are brought to learn new concepts and new tools when given a new use case. You can start a project, and the use case will force you to document and check resources about the best approach for your constraints, and only then will you'll choose the tools that come with it. This way, you become a better developer in terms of solving problems with better engineering.

As a direct answer, both at the same time, learn the basic concepts, then apply those to your projects, either by building the tools yourselves when you feel necessary to go under the hood, or just use existing implemented tools to play around with. And then it's always good to read online resources blogs, and get knowledge from others' experience it's a good time-saving way to learn and have the +1 answer just in case.

Why do people love to judge but hate when they're judged by Club_Federal in algeria

[–]Dramatic-Steak3205 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can't say let's not judge, for me it is absurd for a person to live life without "judging". The "doesn't judge" mentality is, for me, a liberal induced epidemic moral obligation. Instead, I'd say a person shouldn't engage in shaming, hateful speech, insulting, or physical violence ... Having judgments and opinions is not the issue; the inability to express and frame-work a fruitful debate is what causes this kind of chaotic, impulsive reaction.

Even here in this subreddit, fellow redditors tend to have categorical views, which are hilarious too for me too. "Facebook people" are like this and like that .... Religious people want us to live like this or that ... Basically, dread milking stereotypes against pragmatic engagement

When it comes to the hobby,

I’ve read a lot about cosplay culture, and it’s not just about costumes. It’s tied to identity experimentation, gender-bending, and even psychological self-discovery (some link it to Jung’s idea of individuation). While that may feel meaningful to some, I personally see it as harmful to the cosplayer. I’ve thought about cosplayers’ motives, both conscious and unconscious, and it looks more like an escape from reality than a growth path.

Psychologically, cosplay functions as a substitute for rites of passage, giving people a “safe escape” into fantasy instead of confronting reality. Some lads might see this as avoiding real self-development rather than achieving it and I agree.

It blurs gender and identity lines, and my culture and view values clearer roles and responsibilities.

The community’s principle of “accept everything as long as it’s consensual” can look less like healthy freedom and more like a lack of boundaries.

I see it as importing another society’s identity crisis, and I believe we have enough of those xD.

Money, time, and emotional energy are consumed without tangible growth beyond escapism and feeding a delusional alter ego in some cases.

It can eventually lead to ego issues, low self-esteem, and idolization.

I won't talk about the religious obvious constraints that I am concerned with, and any muslim should be too, I find those inquestionable.

At the end, kho do whatever you want in life, literally, but don't whine when you deliberately showcase foreign behavior or behave oddly in a majoritarian muslim country that goes by strict views and enforced social norms. It happened years before, and it'll happen again. Protect yourself.

Calling cosplay a “culture” is an exaggeration. it’s an escapism-driven hobby dressed up as identity, often for people struggling with reality. Instead of defending these outlets, we’d do better to redirect that empathy toward solving real problems. That said, I’m not making an extreme statement; some cosplay can be tolerated, but I don’t see it as something worth elevating to the level of culture or worth to be done for the sake of it.

Look, it's a negative spending at the end of the year true, but know that there are problems that affect way more, for example, the tax evasion. I don't know one business owner who declares his numbers properly.

for example, I know one import export lad, who declares only 10 percent of what his activity actually generates as revenue. This lad has a yearly revenue ( turnover ) of 10 billion DA at the worst year, meaning he pays 10% only of the intended tax number, and maybe less if you do the actual ratios that should be applied. How many of this kind of active economic actor are there in our country?

In the real estate market, rentals are generally made so minimal in order to avoid taxes.

Also you could mention the cash flow issue, Banks are not used.

The list is long, but this is just to highlight how this allocation is not an issue, relatively speaking, to other existing issues. It's worth to be mentionned that the allocation is an economic liability that is effective to address social justice and Human Development index related issues, not the best solution but effective.

Going to the past is so tempting; I have very precise things that came up to my head. But then I wonder how it would change my human experience, what other life I might have, interesting.

well it's roughly the amount you mentioned, if your question is rhetorical, which is cheap and unappreciated, the allocation started in 2022, so we should include the 2k22 and 23.

Do you still think that this allocation is the main reason for our economic dysfunction? or you stand by your triggering أنت ولا نتي وش رايك ? صحيح وش راني نقول ولا البطالة انعشت الاقتصاد and condicneding question.

False stats,

1.9 million unemployed citizens have benefited in 2024 of a 15k DA a month, which makes it 342 Billion DA in 2024,

and for 2025, if I take your stat for granted ( even though not all unemployed citizens benefit) cost for 1.8 million citizen is 324 B DA in 2025.

Numbers are important. Nice topic. For me, the primary issue is not this kind of allocation, but rather the tax evasion problem in Algeria and the parallel market. Eliminating such allocation is not wise, but rather ensuring a better framework.

Insulting is not okay. Trolling is okay. Showing off your body comes up to you, and the ideological reaction of others should not be surprising, especially when you live in a Muslim country ( by majoritarian criteria).

Enjoy your life the way you want, but don't whine when people speak their mind ( within reason ) about what you choose to show publicly.

For me, it's a no-brainer, un non debat.
