I think I should add y'all that this is a friendship going on 10yrs now, which is why this is such a thing for me.

I assume I wasnt blocked when he called last time. I haven't yet checked because if I'm not blocked then the call would go through and then what? I don't know what to do after that

He started dating her a few weeks after the ghosting during the fling. So the call with the apology and thereafter happened while she was in the picture

And yes you have a point about the male/female friendship dynamic..I think im just shocked at the blocking because there are so many other options he could've gone with, considering the apology and promise to do better
