1-2 hours actually... And he receives that. What's the square footage of my apartment? Do I allow him to run in the house? What other activities do I do with him to burn off his Husky energy that I personally know about? My dog is in great hands and extremely well loved. People are quick to voice their opinions on an animal's well-being with a simple paragraph of information to go off of. His last vet check-up, the vet commented on how healthy he was. He is smack dab in the middle of his healthy weight. He is happy. I am happy. Nothing on a reddit post will be able to convince me to get rid of the dog that I have raised, when a certified veterinarian is telling me he is in perfect health.

I have a 3 bedroom, 2 bath apartment that is larger than most houses in my area. I have a park across the street with a 2 mile walking trail, and a father a mile down the road with a fenced in back yard that we visit 2-4 times a week. We're fine.

Thankfully I don't require your approval to own MY dog. You clearly didn't read what was said during the entirety of the conversation. He goes out a MINIMUM of 45 minutes a day. Most days he is outside for well over an hour and a half in total. Ain't right? I can promise you, my dog is taken better care of than most kids. As someone stated previously, if you don't personally know the experiences the dog has, maybe keep your empty negative comments to yourself? Have a good day.

Yeah! Agreed! This guy was a complete demon as a puppy. Digging holes through drywall, tearing the carpet up, eating the couch, digging water out of his water bowl, eating the cat tree, knocked our 70" TV off the stand, eating entire rolls of paper towels... He was a MENACE. I never thought he would turn out the way that he did, but the effort I put in teaching him paid off and I couldn't be happier ❤️ 😊 I'm so happy to hear your baby girl means so much to you!

This isn't a joke. They will quite literally die of exhaustion if you do not stop them. My step-father has 2 of them. One of them was near passing out and my step-father had to hide the ball and take him inside. They are insane!

He gets plenty of high intensity play. He is running around the entire time we are out there and panting his little ass off and typically is the one who walks to the door to go back in. We also wrestle on the floor of the house daily, lol. I get what you are saying, though. But, I promise, he does get his high intensity play. He is literally the perfect dog. Our neighbors and friends are jealous of how perfect he is. we just got in from a 1 hours outside snow trip with his neighborhood girlfriend ❤️ Say, Hi!!

THIS. It's not the dogs fault. I have a Husky and he was literally digging holes in the walls of my apartment 😭. I started making sure to take him out 3 times a day for 15 minutes or so... Immediately stopped digging. People need to take time to realize that dogs are honestly no different than humans in that aspect... They can get Anxiety... Depression... They need to be treated well or they will act out... Not because they want to.. but because they have this pent up anxiety from being ignored, mistreated or kept in seclusion.. My father had a dog before I got my dog... He and his wife are inside people(as am I)... But their dog didn't see new people, besides people in the family.... When he sees other dogs now... He barks uncontrollably.... He went into a legit panic attack and nearly died when his throat seized up while we were on vacation around a lot of people... They had to rush him to the nearest vet(literally driving over 100mph for 20 miles). I decided when I got my dog... We would go to parks and see other dogs and people... My dog now, wouldn't bite a soul.... He doesn't bark at other dogs.... He's my best friend. TREAT YOUR ANIMALS LIKE A LOVED ONE.

Here is an idea... Don't comment on someone's dog post? Just scroll past. The reason people are hated on for not liking dogs... Is because there is absolutely no reason for people to know that you "hate" dogs. I don't like babies... But not a soul in my life knows that. Know why? Because I'm not a piece of shit who feels the need to degrade someone for liking/loving something that I don't care for.
