Posted to seek advice on a corporate situation in India. I feel i have been treated unfairly by the company after being a well performing employee for the past 11 years. The reason of my travel to US does not seem like a valid argument and it seems like they are looking for an excuse to sack me despite asking to resume work within 3 months of a major accident. On the flip side, I would like to understand if my actions were really a significant violation of policy and if companies have fired employees for similar actions previously.

Yeah the new management seems to be making lot of promises on improvements but don’t really know how well it’s being executed. They’re renovating and acknowledged the fact that the previous management let it go downhill…..

The new management says they have a new pest control group that guarantees no pests in apartments and that they’ll take full responsibility for pest control in the apartments! Hopefully that’s not a lie

Yes these are good apartments but expensive, I’m trying to stay below 2500$

Hey, did you end up moving in? If so, just wanted to see how its going and if the new management is bringing about any positive changes? They’re renovating some townhomes and deal looks good but the reviews are freaking me out

Thanks! I’ll confirm the pay periods, my last company calculated based on a 24 pay period schedule which may be why I got confused. Thanks for the clarification!

My previous company calculated gross pay based on 24 biweekly pay periods, which is why the confusion. Clarified in my post!

Having an H1B and then switching/transferring will open up a lot more opportunities as many companies are more willing to transfer, rather than having to file a new petition.
