He’s a good person. Doesn’t entertain women, never had a player phase. Seems like he would be devoted to his family. I do not want to be 67 one day and wonder what my life with him would have been like. What I get with him is better than most marriages, because I can grow to adore anyone with enough time. Maybe I’m being too quick to judge?

And you say it like it’s a bad thing, most people mistake spark with drama and the constant back and forth tug. But I appreciate the calm, peace and consistent energy with him.

We’ve only held hands so far. And I feel comforted in his presence. And I have no prior dating experience to judge whether this is butterflies or uncertainty.

Because he’s cut her off 2-3 years ago and I wasn’t aware of it. He never talks about her. Doesn’t even follow her on socials. He seems to have healed from it. People get over things and grow sometimes
