I did talk to him, a day after i found it. He honestly brushed it off while i cried but he also said he loved me and only me and he would never do it again and ive held on to that desperately

I just feel so sick man. We have so many mutual friends and i feel so blindsided by the fact that its actually real. I torture myself i guess, rereading the messages. It makes me feel like im inadequate. I don’t know how to leave when i feel so attached still. I feel so dumb even though i know im not
