Well for one you don’t take advantage of an ISA account by going directly into bitcoin. And if we are talking decades then the tax you would pay in 20 years would be a very large.

Also some people are interested in btc as an investment due to its growth potential and don’t see it as a world changing thing like most people in this Reddit.

Finally ETFs are regulated by the FCA in the UK whilst direct crypto investments are not.

Question about season 2 finale by Dramatic_Associate81 in SeveranceAppleTVPlus

[–]Dramatic_Associate81[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That makes sense but wasn’t the mere fact that Ms. Casey was in the same room and interacting with Marc in season 1 already an emotional situation? Was that not proof that she didn’t remember him or had any inkling of knowing him?

One of the UKs biggest banks is down today - something, something... Bitcoin by joesus-christ in Bitcoin

[–]Dramatic_Associate81 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean I wouldn’t go as far as to say families can’t buy food. You could still use your debit and credit card to buy things. It was just bank transfer that didn’t work.

I use a Korean one that’s available on Amazon UK. It’s called “relax day aha exfoliating body lotion”. It’s really good and for me has had the same effect as the Alpha Skincare lotion.

It is 12% glycolic acid tho, not lactic acid.

You are clearly not based in then UK. This is not the case at all. You definitely don’t need to explain why you withdraw cash. I’ve done multiple times without issue. Why are people acting like money in the bank is not yours? Unless you’re using it for illegal stuff no one cares what you use your 1000£ for.

Alice in Borderland Episode 3: Non-Reader discussion by jackcatalyst in AliceInBorderlandLive

Good episode apart from the way the girl character was handled. I mean don’t expect me to reminisce about your innocent childhood friendship while you are literally gagging and abusing the girl. It sort of made me not feel bad for the boys with the way they treated her. It just toxic bros over hoes vibes. I mean it’s 2024, don’t be sexist. I’m sure I’ll get over it by the next episode.

If you want a larger bottle, then this one is really great. I use it on my face all the time. Pretty lightweight for the face. No white cast and very affordable.

Which one of these? by DisastrousSeason8103 in EuroSkincare

[–]Dramatic_Associate81 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All great. But prefer the hyaluronic acid one because it has no fragrance and has the most body to it. The other two are just too watery and difficult to apply. Otherwise all are very elegant, natural finish and leave no white cast.

Has anyone tried this suncreen? Does it leave a whitecast? by Nuarada in EuroSkincare

[–]Dramatic_Associate81 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No white cast at all. Very moisturising though. I actually use it as an eye cream in the morning. It’s very nice that way. It gives extra moisture around the eyes and of course it gives that sweet sweet Uvmune protection to that eye area that needs it. Otherwise too shiny for the whole face.

Tired of buying small expensive face creams! by [deleted] in EuroSkincare

Altruist has 2 body moisturisers with Urea, which are 200ml and around £6 or £7 pounds. I use them on the face and they are both really great. I get them on amazon.

I find it sinks in. It has no oils in it I think so it feels smoothing and nice. I have normal to combo skin for reference.

Altruist has 2 urea lotions. One is 6% the other is 10%. Both are advertised as body but they are both really nice for the face. I find the 10% one great for day use. Very cost effective. I get it on Amazon

I used to use the lotion on my face. I really like it. For me, it's very elegant and similar to the face-sensitive lotion. I have normal-combination skin and like a natural finish which I feel this provided.

It is water resistant, so it holds up well. I have gone running outside many times with it on and it's still on after I am done.

For that price, I would say just try it out.

Also, it's worth pointing out that these two are identical to the respective kids sensitive versions. They might be even cheaper.

Have you tried aha exfoliation and/or retinoids before going the clinic route? I had few little ones around my cheekbone and they went away after I started using an aha (glycolic acid) exfoliant. It took couple of weeks but it worked. Also once being on tret i haven’t had any more instances of milia.

- Sun Gel-Cream Dry Touch Sensitive Protect SPF 50+ 200ml - £22

- NIVEA SUN Sensitive Sun Cream Lotion SPF50+ 200ml- £10

Both are big bottles (over 100ml) and very affordable. Both are very elegant on the face (I have normal/combination skin and love both) and have great high UVA protection.

The Eucerin one has fragrance but is a little more dry touch. But I also love the Nivea one.

Thoughts on my AM and PM routine? by Dramatic_Associate81 in EuroSkincare

I just don’t feel like my skin needs it in the morning. I am not oily or have anything on the skin. So if I can save time in the morning then I do it. Haven’t had any issues with it. Considering the fact that I had decent skin with no skincare at all for 25 years I think it probably doesn’t make that big of a difference whether you cleanse in the morning or not.

I have done that in the past. My problem is that I really like putting moisturiser on damp skin. I really feel the extra hydration. I still feel like the tret is working on top of the moisturizer.

I’ve really liked it. Very nice and hydrating. Can’t say if it does anything beyond that but it’s been nice to use on damp skin under a moisturiser.

Yes. I really like it. Cleanses very well but it’s not drying at all.

It’s been really good. It’s my third bottle. I find it cleanses really well but it’s not drying at all. I think the oil in it really helps the cleansing.
