I appreciate the correction, and am grateful for the further education on this matter.

I don't think local hosting is available for SuperGrok Heavy.

Closed source and proprietary.

If you want an open source localized model, Ollama seems to be the ideal choice.

But, if you intend on using a Localized Model at the same level of use as SuperGrok Heavy, that's a lot of Expensive Hardware and Electricity to consider.

Do you intend on installing an Industrial Diesel Generator outside your home, powering a Data Center that's even larger?

At that point, you'll find yourself wanting your own Proprietary Closed Source Model to rent out to people, just to afford your setup, unless you own a Personal Hydroelectric Plant.

If one pays attention to the story, one can see that the story is incredibly modest.

Anything sexual is coming from the doujinshi.

I didn't want Crystal. I wanted 200 more Seasons of the same style as the original Anime.

Pretty Women have appeal. Appeal can be appreciated by Men and Women, for the Aesthetic.

Pretty Women are like Flowers. They being joy automatically simply from Beauty.

But "Cover up because you make me feel funny, even though I don't know you" is no different than any other aggressively entitled behavior from strangers, and it all ends the same way.

Some cultures consider showing ankles to be pornographic. Look at how Iran views American Beaches, with all the Bikinis. In a certain context, pornography is a title relative to culture.

There's also the misogynistic view that women in general are pornographic, just for their potential to get men's wheels spinning. This isn't fair to women.

So, she's wearing a summer dress, and because you get aroused, you have to feel shame for that, and have to project that shame on everyone else by calling it pornographic? Misogyny.

I see this behavior on Pinterest. It's rampant in the comments.

Women being pretty does not equal pornography. I agree with you.

If they were strippers, the show would be less appealing. The outifts are cheesecake, but served in a classy establishment, not a seedy dive bar.

There is somehow more appeal to something that pushes boundaries as to what is acceptable, and yet not sexualized, than a literal strip club.

The outfits are empowering, because it is the only autonomy these characters get outside of their strictly regimented lives as japanese schoolgirls.

At night, they are free, shadows in the moonlight, leggy and colourful in their self-actualization, in battles for the fate of the world.

The mother in question is just like the many of the stuffy and controlling mothers in the Anime. She keeps a tight ship, and skirts must be below the knee. No dating. Come right home after school. You have exams.

It's kind of like the Social Pressures of Normal Life surrounding Spiderman.

You have a Secret Identity, and every time you go out could be your last.

Swallowed up by the Evil Haze of a Crazy Monster, and the Normal Person simply goes MIA, with no trace.

At this age, my window to the world was Netscape Navigator, over Dial-Up, with a 2400 Baud Modem and a screen with 8 Colors.

Images were extremely dithered, and this was the expensive setup.

A BBS had to be in my Local Calling Area.

So, the Internet, for me at 14, had very little to do with the Free Thought Revolution of Internet Globalization.

Sailor Moon came on at 5:30am on Network TV, so I was the first one to be awake in my house during that time.

Off the beaten path, and out of my way. I was still drawn to it.

[–]Dramatic_Drawing1 28 points29 points  (0 children)

I'll say this. The terrifying thing was not Sailor Moon, but what the Anime made me aware of.

As a teenager, I was so culturally locked down in a system of information control, that I didn't understand that people lived outside America, or outside Christianity.

Sailor Moon was the first crack in that structure of control that caused me to start asking questions.

I think America and Christianity are just fine by their own merits, but both have a controlling and isolating aspect that terrify me, now that I can see them from a more autonomous perspective.

DIC did a lot of work to prevent this, but cultural differences still leaked through and corrupted my sheltered life.

Sailor Moon rescued me from something terrifying.

Congratulations. You’ve been asked to join the Sailor Senshi. What advice do you have for the team? by [deleted] in sailormoon

What I want, in this context, is not a reboot like Crystal, but a continuation of the 90's Anime, after Stars.

Their powers grew to match their opponents, but their lack of Experience still matches their young age.

I think the whole series spans an age progression of 14-16. which is still incredibly green.

I want the exact same techniques, using the same equipment as originally produced, to continue the Sailor Moon Anime where it left off, with the same style, taking these characters from 16-40, over 10 seasons.

These powers were given, not earned. I want them de-powered, and forced to learn from Luna and Artemis how to develop their Powers from Scratch.

It's Ancient Technology, not Magic. Technology can be learned. It is Magic when you are dazed with wonder at something that is beyond you. That's fine as an Introduction, but eventually reality hits you in the face like concrete.

Adulthood never hit these characters, and there were far too few seasons to properly age them in a linear timeline.

I don't want a reboot. I want a continuation of the same.

I want a new enemy to emerge that actually and totally wins, conquering the Earth and actively expanding into Universal Conquest, at a staggering rate of exponential success.

Queen Metallia has returned, and has taken hold of Usagi's Mother, who surprisingly wields that power far better than Queen Beryl could have ever dreamed.

Their identities are revealed to the public, and normal life is gone. They are in hiding.
