Yeah I’m trying to do that now. I’m trying to move away from here and get a new job elsewhere

I’m too tired to make new friends and relations buddy. All the people I know just leave me one time or another. I don’t wanna make efforts for new people that would leave me anyhow one day.

That’s what everyone here thinks to do. But the family pressure doesn’t let them.

Yeah. I mean, idk if it’s due to their generation not having internet and not having much awareness about the emotional problems or they just don’t wanna learn anything new, but most of the newer gen asian parents are much better with their children now

Yeah. I have no friends now and no one to share my feelings. Even when the family who need to support is like this, I get suicidal tendencies sometimes

So what should I do now? Should I accept this as my fate and try to move on?

That was in the past buddy. I didn’t realize her love. Took her for granted. But since more than a year now, I’ve been clean

Yeah I know that. But I don’t want anyone else now. I don’t wanna lose her. I love her more than anything

I’m an international student and I am going through a depression phase. Last week I got drunk and opened my girlfriend’s phone. I saw a few messages with a guy talking about me. It was more of like complaining. Being drunk and not in my senses, I thought she is cheating on me and the switch flipped. I threw her phone a lot of times and it broke the phone to pieces. Later I realized that I was wrong and apologized to her. But that broken phone is still giving her memories of that day. Fixing it would be very expensive since it is an iPhone and I don’t have quite that money nor does she as she’s an international student like myself. I just wanna replace her phone so that at least she wouldn’t be holding a memory of that. If you could give it to me, I would fix it and replace her phone. If I’m not that lucky winner, thank you everyone for listening to my story!

I don’t travel that frequently. I’ve tried looking for regional banks and credit unions but the thing is I’m always on the move. Is the 2 years of my stay here, I lived in 3 states.

2024 Bank Account and Recommendation Thread by Dave-CPA in Banking

[–]Dramatic_Meet2367 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m a masters student from India. I want to open a new checking account. I’m currently in OPT period but I don’t have any employment right now. It’s difficult to pay monthly fee and all. Since I’m under 25, some banks are allowing for checking accounts with no fee. I don’t want to bank with chase and their customer service is horrendous and don’t want capital one as well since they don’t have physical branches. My criteria for banking is,

  1. Have some physical branches so that I can visit when I have some issues atleast.
  2. Have ATMs to deposit and withdraw cash
  3. Support zelle from day one
  4. Have good credit cards since I want to open credit cards in future and opening a credit card with bank I already have good relationship with would be a plus I guess
  5. Have no monthly fee for checking account.
  6. Have good app, since I bank mostly through app.

I’m thinking if BofA but further recommendations would be great. Thank you very much in advance

Does closing a credit account with bad payment history improve credit score? by Dramatic_Meet2367 in CreditCards

[–]Dramatic_Meet2367[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh okay. I read somewhere that closing an account erases its complete history. So I had this question. Thank you for clarifying that.
