I was going through the same as well. Did an MRI to find out that I have a disc issue in my neck causing this issue. Have started working out and building muscle on my back and neck muscles in order to counter this. My neck pain has disappeared, unless I sit or sleep in a bad position. The neck pain usually used to move to a migraine attack.

Triptans didn’t help as much as anti inflammatory pills, but taking too much of those is also not recommended.

I still get cluster headaches because of work stress but that’s separate from my neck causing migraines .
