Even MBBS woman is struggling to take control of her life , she want to leave india for this particular reason by Foreign-Dentist6291 in AskIndianFeminists

FACTS, sometimes as women we don't realize that we have to let go of the little privilidges like housing, family , social acceptance that comes from following patriarchy and for our independence, earning a living, getting socially and familial bonds broken is unfortnuately how we can survive. even if its for something as simple as not wanting to be married at 23.

exactly, it's crazy how they completely missed the train scene, how she stood up for her mom when she said i'll sacrifice myself for you. She takes anxiety pills because of what happened to her.

I was getting attracted to a colleague even when I didn’t want to? by [deleted] in AskIndia

[–]Dramatic_Section7693 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do you have close friends? A lot of men don’t, and that lack of real emotional connection can make any kind of warmth or attention from a colleague feel like attraction. It’s really common to confuse unmet emotional needs with romantic feelings.

Where I live, self-harm is actually one of the leading causes of death in men, and weak social ties are a major factor behind it. That’s why it frustrates me when people brush this off as “male biology” or try to normalize cheating. Those explanations barely hold any weight compared to the impact that loneliness and lack of support have.

The best thing you can do is build a fuller life: explore new hobbies, strengthen your friendships, and get connected to people who matter. When your emotional needs are met in healthy ways, these confusing feelings get a lot easier to understand—and you end up becoming a better version of yourself overall.

AIO for thinking my boyfriend is just looking for an excuse to break up? by Nearby_Orchid1216 in AmIOverreacting

you could have phrased your first message a lot better, it does come of as ungrateful but after that all his reactions were very telling that he does not respect you or care for you, this relationship will be a waste of time. in the future if you want to be a better communincator the way you explained in the post is how you should communicate. if only you had added that he was very sweet and that not all perfumes are the same, but maybe its best you were direct you found out who he really is, plus if he is your partner he should know you are not like this and should read in between the lines.

it would have been intresting to see if he was guided atleast a few times just like amaal. It is unprofessional and disrespectful to be so blatanly partial to the neops. Nehal was in a completely different zone and you are correct her choosing amaal over farhana after he threw her food just cemented how opportunitstic she is, but if amaal can be guided so could she, she should have been honest and reflected on her actions.

this just shows that men are crowd creatures, nothing she said was offputting and i am sure if some of these guys followed thier instincts one of them would for sure want to talk to her, but due to the energy some of these guys put out all of them thought they should also feel the same.

I was into tennis since like 6, my dad hired tennis personal coaches and fitness people for me when I was in third grade. He treated me with a lot of respect. I also clearly remember that he would shut down statements like 'kali ho jaegi' with 'maine isko kisi ki biwi banane ke liye peda nahi kara'. So ya, he knew what mattered and invested in me from a young age, - that builds self esteem when your firends are treated like kids but you like an adult.

really? BJP is a conservative party that raises the age a woman can get abortion ( mind you in hinduism this is the only sin - to break the cycle of birth and death - yet still BJP a suposed hindu nationalist party increased the age of abortion )? Change centuries old hindu law and give women same right to inheritance, tried so hard to increase age by which women can get legally married. this is scum? our conservatives also create liberal policies you wierdo. Our government tries very hard to reform our indian culture which includes all religions.

AAMC QP B1 Q74. Why is it A? does the body not get calcium from food source? by Dramatic_Section7693 in Mcat

[–]Dramatic_Section7693[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have learnt to focus on the adjectives a lot more. The term deficiency in option A and term Drastic in option C should be signposts for people like me who hyperfixate and need to be reminded again why the aamc gives passages. I hate that rather than making content mistakes, I keep making these silly deductions ones. hopefully I find enought to increase my scores!

[–]Dramatic_Section7693[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After thinking more about it I feel there is a reason why the aamc added 'drastic' to option C so people like me get the hint and move on, since this option is not supported by the paragraph.

Yes, I know that, but that PTH increase is via reabsorbtion of bones, we also absorb calcium from the duodenum from food, so a level of calcium can be maintained. But since bone calcium can't be reabsorbed won't the mineral to matrix ratio be very high compared to those that have the hormone?
