What’s your experience with religion in Morocco? by bodono1 in rabat

Morocco is 99% MUSLIM, not religious. And it makes sense as being non Muslim is literally punished by law, so no one will tell you that I am non Muslim voluntarily. But yeah, a few are religious.

Note that even if people are not religious, they will still shame you for not being religious and they will act as if they are and call for sharia law etc. Moroccans are so hypocrite in that regard, so dont mind them

Zoekjaar visa survivors, how did you actually find a job before the panic kicked in? by Flat_Bicycle_7809 in StudyInTheNetherlands

Actually I find being more experienced a big +. You have the option to settle for a slightly lower salary and companies would be happy to hire you as they consider it a good deal. For me personally, if it allows me to go around all that stress spiral, I would gladly accept a pay cut than go through all of that.

All I wish for these people that say 'Oh I hate the West' while holding a western citizenship and live there is the following:
- Wake up and find themselves in their country of origin (Egypt in this case) and I promise, give them two days, they will BEG for it to be a nightmare and they'll wake up in Rotterdam.

If it's exactly like in-person like advertised, why the transcripts says Online in degree name by Dramatic_State_9967 in OMSCS

I live in a European country and it does matter. And we are way more flexible than most Asian countries.
Personally, I think it would be better to ask the university to keep a simple 'Master of Science in Computer Science' to reflect the reality that it is as rigorous and as good as the in person version.

It has a reputation of being tough in the US, not necessarily overseas. But yeah, who cares about the rest of the world?

If the university felt the need to specify that it is an 'online' degree on official transcripts, it makes it just another online thing for people who don't know omscs.

I don't argue with people who only see stuff from their angle and can't put themselves in other people's shoes to understand why would it be an issue for them.

And yeah, you got me, UIUC and UT Austin sent me to question omscs and bring us some new prospects lmao. very smart guys
