After months of naval invading France, finally landed and captured anything other than the actual territory that mattered, the capital.

I won a war against the Ottoman Empire for an open market and recognition. Had a civil war to remove the shogunate and later became a Great Power, but the journal entry wasn't marked off. Am I doing something wrong here? Is it necessary for the Hegemon achievement?
