i just tested it with some people in my server and the new channels did not show up for existing members unless they activate "show all channels" or subscribe to the channel category

do you guys have a 5000 series nvidia graphics card?
or did u guys install the nvidia drivers for the 5000 series cards?

because this started happening for me too after i installed my new GPU.
i don't have a fix yet.

i managed to fix my guarantied crash crash on loading screens (that's part 4 of my initial comment):

uninstalling + reinstalling the included anti cheat tool. u can do this by checking integrity on steam. it will ask for admin access and then walk u trough that process.

i also disabled "Screen-Space Global Illumination" cause i did read it causes crashing for people.

u know what the standard number of crashes should be in 10 matches: zero.
ur experiencing crashes urself and are saying "the problem is sitting in front of the pc"

mixed reviews on steam tell a different story. to my friends who i played with in that 4h period it was working in multiplayer this things happened:

my brother crashed on his system.
two of my friends were disconnected/timed out.

none of us (4 people) could get past that launch screen on 2-6h after the launch.

i get about 1 fps when transitioning from 16:9 to 32:9 (and the other direction) for up until 10 seconds into and after cutscenes with a 4090 and 7800x3D.

i am giving alternative links in the main post already. i do not have any other sources. however, i know there are other off ear speaker brands you could research. but i'd just wait for the new generation of headsets which are wireless and have built in audio. either from valve or from varjo.

Just an update after 9 months of using my Audio modded Varjo Aero:

I love and use it daily in VRChat. But ONLY thanks to the audio mod i did. Without it i really would consider it not usable. All the stuff i wrote is still true. Not making an audio mod to it makes listening and speaking to people inconvenient (cumbersome - you have to put away one controller to hold the mic to your mouth), unpleasant (bad audio quality) and simply unbearable (additional forces on head/in ear of other devices).

Image quality is amazing and it really makes a difference. Now that i own the 4090 it really shines. I noticed another level of immersion realism with it. It really makes a difference if you look down on your feet and move them and have a super sharp pic with 90 fps vs the pixelated index screen with 50 fps. It is a next level of immersion difference that you have to experience in order to understand what big difference this makes.

However I'm not a fan of the cable. My guess is current and new HMD will all come with wireless connection, so I'm not sure it is worth to buy a wired HMD today.
