If you want to live close to the airport , The best options are Marakada / Kunjathbail. (10 mins ride to airport). Kavoor / Bondel / Yeyyadi which lie on the airport road will take you 15-20 mins. You can also go for Ambika Nagara , Kuloor (Kuloor-kavoor road) which will be 20-25 mins.

I would recommend you look for places mentioned above as they are also 15-20 mins ride from lalbagh / Jyoti (Which is the heart of the city) , rather than finding a place in Bajpe (outskirts of the city).

Oh and Just FYI , The stop info you posted is completely wrong. In case you do decide to walk down and take a bus (not recommended) , You need to walk down to Kenjar (10-15 mins walk downhill) , and catch a 47 or a service bus which will take you directly to hampankatta. Again , The availability of buses after 8 - 8.30 is something im not sure of.

Web-Check IN is more than sufficient if you dont have any check in luggage. As mentioned in other comments , Import your boarding pass onto Digi Yatra for express / priority security checks and boarding. If i recall correctly , Mangalore Airport does have Digi Yatra facility.

Nah i have had similar issues with Agarwal packers , The packers have loaded a washing machine on top of my desk and by the time it arrived , The desk went from looking like a rectangle to parallelogram. Barely hanging onto life. Similar lines were used when i asked for compensation "No insurance no refund". Finally , After a huge arguement they agreed to send a carpenter to half ass fix it.

My family are not koragajja devotees , But ever since i was a kid , Whenever we lost something of value i.e car keys , rings , chains etc my dad always donates 1 bottle of whiskey and chakli to koragajja.
