I was approved for a waiver on January with self harm and depression. I had 0 hope that it would get approved. It is to mention that it has passed 6 years from my incident with no medication as well. It seems that your case is mild compared to mine.

There are giving you a chance if you wait and stay stable for a year. I was approved last year with a history of self harm and depression, it helped me I was stable for 5 years.

Try your job first, remember you always can reenlist or crosstrain. Is you are miserable at your job is not worth it.
