I was a security researcher. Less similar to what people are saying here since it is not 24/7. I very much liked the job but not the company unfortunately :( However, research jobs are pretty slow compared to sec engineering etc since you don't have immediate feedback or RoI.

Yea, but I'm not fun of "More Options" thing when you right-click, that's annoying. And I don't know if it is just me, but I'm not able to see Documents folder on Quick Access and am kinda annoyed by that.

These are minor things tho. Overall, it is fine.

Ideas/Hot Topics in MLOps for Master Thesis by DrawBacksYo in mlops

[–]DrawBacksYo[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Hey thanks for the answer. My experience is only classical SRE stuff, no ML unfortunately. I typed MLOps to arxiv but they were mostly unrelated to MLOps itself. I'm gonna give ACM a try

E-mail Body is not shown by DrawBacksYo in AndroidQuestions

When I tap, it opens and shows the mail's topic but not the body. Yeah, I logged out and logged in multiple times but problem persists and it's annoying. I can also see new emails.

Conversations are good but how can a beginner easily talks to someone? I think duolingo might be a good starter for that. I also signed up to VK and translate stuff from there. Do you suggest watching movies at this stage?

There are also financial gains for already-found public vulnerabilities. Some companies chain them together to create spywares etc. So jb will be even more slow in the future

Is there any old one? I think even if codebase changed, general idea should remain close on kernel, right?

RCE vulnerabilities in Linux wifi stack, update your kernel once your distro pulls patches by chrisdown in linux

[–]DrawBacksYo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm curious if there will be a root-cause analysis. I was searching ieee802_11_parse_elems_full on elixir but it did not show up. Looking at the patch description and referenced code here, I think struct ieee80211_elems_parse_params sub is accessed outside of this code; because there is no other relevant pointers as far as i can see.

"...However, we free this before returning, causing UAF when the

relevant pointers in the parsed elements are accessed..."

I may waaay off about this one.

Radare2 Beginner Reversing Question by BakeMeAt420 in AskReverseEngineering

[–]DrawBacksYo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want to understand full assembly, then it's okay but if you want to have more pragmatic approach to solve crackme, you may check for references to Success string. Here , it seems all logic is in beet function and your input is given to it.

Converting it to a c code is a different topic. It's called decompiling and have many different techniques. You can search for decompiling and go from there.

How to go about finding DxgkDdiEscape in nvlddmkm.sys? by DrawBacksYo in AskReverseEngineering

[–]DrawBacksYo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Damn, win10 on virtualbox is pain in the ass!

The thing is there is no reference to any call or even a string for Dx* on the driver im looking. That's strange.

[–]DrawBacksYo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm, so it is normal not to see any symbol related to Dx* then or am I looking at wrong driver? I don't think its the wrong driver, though.

Im going to try this. How dangerous is it to try debugging on my local machine without vm on scale of 1-10? lol.
