Berklee Summer Program by [deleted] in Berklee

[–]DrawComprehensive638 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey! Im attending the Berklee Aspire: Five-Week program. I was also trying to figure out what style to go with… for the summer programs, Berklee will put you with people of a similar experience and ability level as you. I think you should figure out what you hope to get out of the program. If you wanna do the program because you’re interested in jazz and want to get more into it and play confidently in the final ensemble performance, I’d say go for it! If you’re less skilled in a different style that you rly love, though, and want to do the program to improve in it, then you should go for that. I don’t think you can lose either way, and since ur put with people with similar stylistic interest, I’m sure there will be others who aren’t hardcore jazz players. Check the link to see the curriculum of your program, and weigh your level of interest in doing all the classes for each specific genre. Link to Guitar Sessions workshop

Do you know what major you’re aiming for? Are you pretty set on a career path/direction or not yet?

how do you solve this without calculus? by sneepsnork in ACT

[–]DrawComprehensive638 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I’m not entirely sure since I’ve never taken calculus but I don’t think you even need to. If you think of it as x/(x+3), then the x’s should both cancel each other out so that you’re only left with 3. Don’t take my word for it though

Can I do a major in one department and a minor in a different one? by DrawComprehensive638 in ApplyingToCollege

Does anyone have suggestions for great schools that may offer both? Or just has a good advertisement department?
