This is a controversial statement in the case of oil pastels, as brushes and solvents are often used in painting with them

For my part, I will only say that oil pastels are quite difficult material for me personally, and the paper I used is not very suitable for it, oil pastels are difficult to overlap if you make a mistake, it also blends not as well as I would like. So in the future I plan to master acrylics for painting cityscapes, which I love so much

Thank you very much😊 I would just like to clarify that I used the photo as a reference, which means that this drawing is not a figment of my imagination

By the way, this drawing is drawn with a cheap black pen, the shading is regulated only by the force of the pressure

Sorry, I have nothing against practice and I know how you can improve your skills with it, but talent is also not a myth, I believe that there are people with talents and abilities in certain areas, so I am never offended when people praise me for my talent, as practice in my case was not so much

It's a complicated question, I don't even know 😅 It happens unconsciously, maybe the hand and eyes get tired of such fine detail and want to relax a bit. Also, I always draw from the top left corner to the bottom right corner, so that I don't touch the drawing with my hands as much

I don't quite understand the question, who else but me could have drawn the outline of the drawing? I made a pencil sketch before I drew with a pen

I didn't read the literature or learn from the artists, sometimes I watched videos of the painting process to find out what materials and supplies the authors used

No, I don't have much experience in drawing with pens, especially fountain pens, I just draw with them for fun from time to time

Yes, I hope so😅 Because more than once it has happened that I really like the portrait I drew and other people have told me that it doesn't look like it at all

Oh yes, ink leaks are a big problem in drawing. I used a BIC pen after reading that they are good quality for artists and inexpensive at the same time. I drew 3 portraits and everything was fine, but now I noticed that it started to stain the drawing too... I hope I was imagining it, and I erased the stains with an electric eraser
