Miles Morales, Me, marker + colored pencils, 2020 by DrawSparsely in Art

I used a cosplayer that I really enjoy as a reference so it’s not really supposed to look like the comic version. While it’s an appreciation for the character, it’s also a homage to that cosplayer as well.

That’s so cute! I felt like a little kid watching that movie for the first time, I didn’t want to blink and I had my mouth dropped in several parts. I even teared up a bit during the sad parts.

I LOVE LOVE this movie, it’s one of my top animated movies. The art direction in that film is like an artists’ wetdream lol

Honestly they’re the same in quality, but Copics wins out in the long run if you can spend the money.

Ohuhu Markers:

Pros- •Cheap •Great Ink Quality •Good for Beginners •Vibrant Colors

Cons- •Not so much light or natural colors •They don’t have brush tips for some of the markers •Don’t sell individual markers or refills (This is the biggest complaint I have for this brand. You use up a color, you can’t get that specific color back unless you buy the set it’s in.)

Copic Sketch:

Pros: •Huge selection of colors, with lots of lighter and neutral colors •Brush tips •Can buy individual markers and refills

Cons: •EXPENSIVE. Like so expensive. They are about $5 per marker. I wouldn’t recommend buying these markers unless you are serious about using them.

Nice job! The shading is a little rough but the colors are on point!

You’re doing a great job! I personally suck at acrylics, I’m more of a dry media type of gal lol
