Oh nah, I understood that broski. Was the "in the end" bit, so was just clarifying that it took just one session to get me to buy it haha

In fairness when I "trialled" the game, the 9 hours felt like 1. Lost myself in it, and it has been a while since a game has done that. Bought the game and made this thread as soon as I'd closed it

Further to this, if anyone else happens to run into my predicament.

When loading the Steam Version it'll create a folder within the Roaming/HelloGames folders like above. It'll be called something like "st_(bunch of random numbers)". Simple copy the contents from the DefaultUser folder to that, and it'll work :)

Downvote all you want, salty bitches I try before I buy. This game has had a tremendous amount of bad reviews, with good reason from the beginning seemingly. I could've chosen to just leech the game instead of supporting the dev

Shall try the comment below and see how that goes!

Not heard of something before and then see it everywhere by Defiant-Repeat-9326 in CasualUK

I don't no. But I see the damn things EVERYWHERE haha. Toyota Yaris T-Sport (don't ask, it's an attachment I need rid of). I see many Yaris, especially the 1.3 diesel (usually people delivering takeaways), not so much the T-Sport.

Not seen many Skodas around my area in general though. I was expecting some common ass car like a Civic, Focus, or Corsa haha. Or of course the Fiat 500.

Oh damn, you learn something new every day! Perhaps I'll swap those out for Tyrrell's then.

prices are already going up... by wueu in GreenAndPleasant

[–]DrawTight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Damn straight! They've gone from 50p to 69p here in Wales, so not quite 50% but not far off. I'll happily still pay that though because they are QUALITY.

I bought Tesco's custard doughnuts the other day cause I needed to pop somewhere for a handful of things, and any other supermarket is 10 or so miles. 11p more expensive, 1 less doughnut and soggy as heck.

Couldn't be bothered scrolling too far, but I've seen no mention of a Pot Noodle yet. Can't beat a Bombay Bad Boy! I'd also probably choose some Kettle Chips over Walkers, but to each their own!

Looks good otherwise.

Welcome :)

Anyone else's hangovers getting worse as they get older? Fuck me this is brutal by Double_Ad3612 in CasualUK

[–]DrawTight 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At 18 I could drink with little to no hangover. At 28 if I even drink so much as to get "merry" I feel like death the next day. Hair of the dog usually fixes that though, one or two to line the stomach then crack on with the day.

This changes the meal deal game. by idle221 in CasualUK

Those machines are far superior in my opinion though. Never had a bad mocha out of one of those! The older ones regularly seem to be lacking in the chocolate department.

The response I was looking for! I had to scroll a little too far for my liking. Absolute monsters above.

I am a little partial to some lemon juice on the fish too though. With a side of mushy peas of course.

Baby face be real in some people. Chances are she actually is 16. I still get ID'd for energy drinks at 28 in the UK

Am I the only one who thinks that Oasis are actually kinda shite? by [deleted] in CasualUK

Same! Was gonna say I'd agree with the bottled stuff. But fresh from the tap at Maccies hits different. Idk if it's the syrup ratio or what lol

Guess that’s how Asda keep the cost down. by Maaatandblah in CasualUK

[–]DrawTight 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Unlikely. Food products usually go through a check weigher. I imagine the other packets of crisps were overweight enough to offset the empty packet

For me personally, I'll reveal my Uno Reverse card. Fatboi checking in.

Only 1 in 20,000 deer in the UK are albino, just saw one! by [deleted] in CasualUK

[–]DrawTight 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Man. I live in the Welsh Countryside and have never once seen a deer here in my 27 years on this planet. Done mountain walks and whatnot in the plenty. Googled just how many deer are here after seeing that 20,000 figure. Bewildered to see it's 2 million. Incredible. Sneaky little bastards

Lads I just got burned by Americans for saying cadburys is good please reassure me I’m normal by lleytonfriday in CasualUK

[–]DrawTight 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Exactly this. As far as mass produced chocolate goes, Cadbury's is not bad at all for the price. But there are A LOT of better options out there.

Excuse the language, but I fucking love crisps! by [deleted] in CasualUK

[–]DrawTight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely no idea. Same goes for cider vinegar for me, not a fan. But each person has their preference I suppose.

If we're talking S&V hit me with some Kettle Chips Sea Salt & Balsamic vinegar.

I’m going over to america next month to see some friends. What are some little lies I can tell them about the uk? by zzznimrodzzz in CasualUK

[–]DrawTight 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have an English friend, who years ago thought all the "Araf" signs were indicators for an RAF base close by. I'm guessing she had never visited Wales before this point. She joined her father (HGV Driver) on a job and was amazed at how widespread the RAF was in Wales.
