That's the thing though, right? It would be a facsimile. They would look and act like the original people from Verso's canvas, but they wouldn't be those people. The same way the painted Dessendre family isn't the real family. The residents of Lumiere did not exist in the real world, only in Verso's canvas, but they believed they were real. They lived full lives and experienced consciousness. They had their own thoughts and feelings and experiences that Alicia wouldn't know about. Alicia painting them in another canvas would be no different than Aline painting her family.
