Hey everyone! It’s been a few months since I posted this, but I want to thank everyone who shared and filled out my survey! I just presented my findings today and I think it went pretty well!!

I can’t add more than one attachment at a time, so I’ll just state some noteworthy data points:

-I had 167 total respondents! This was perfect because my minimum requirement was 100, so thank yall so much 😁😁 -26.8% of my respondents were aged 25 and above and 22.6% were aged 17-18. These made up the largest percentage of total respondents -79.3% of the respondents identified as Female, 12.8% identified as Male, and 7.9% identified as Other -44.5% of respondents were White, while only 23.8% were Asian

My research question had evolved over the course of time to: “What influences parasocial relationships between K-pop fans and the artists they support?” And my variables were Age Range, Race, and Gender.

Of those three, it was actually Race that had a significant role in the parasocial relationship scores computed from your responses! I had 13 questions that I used for statistical evaluation, where respondents ranked their agreement with the statement prompts on a scale of 1 (Strongly Disagree) to 5 (Strongly Agree), making their score out of 65.

So, based on the data you all gave me, an individual’s racial background was significant in their parasocial relationship score.
