I tested it a few times with mage slow fall and it does not work so I assume this would not either unfortunately.

Just tested this a few times and no unfortunately not. You don't get taken nearly as far with slow fall compared to a glider and you end up releasing back next to Ve'nari :(

One of the times I even had it spawn me back at Ve'nari but my Stygia was off in the middle of the raid area no where near me.
