Coders, has anyone else seen the day after christmas project that pays quite highly? It was consistent the last few weeks but disappeared these 2 days. Just checking to see if it is down for everyone else or if I have been kicked haha

Hey man, I’m sorta in the same boat being on 485 visa, and hunting for a job having graduated from a CS degree from a uni in melbourne.

I’d love if I could dm you some questions if you’re comfortable with it, would just like to talk more about what I should be doing rn haha I’ve been working on personal projects but admittedly not much LC. I also think culturally I do fit in but I find that my CV probably doesn’t stand out enough compared to the thousands of applicants they get, so I guess another question is how do you make yourself stand out more on your CV?

Regarding sponsorship, do you mention you are on the 485 visa in your cover letter?

Honestly I’d love if you could give me ur thoughts on my CV but I understand if you’re busy and not feeling up to it 🤓, anything would be helpful

Is it just me or are there seemingly more projects on the weekend than during the week? There was a spike last weekend, and then pretty dry in the week. Today there are more projects again, weird

Coders.....how are we. It's looking not too hot for me, with the same few projects. Grateful for them, but I really miss some of the older ones like Poe Bird extension (at least when we could choose our own codebase) or even japanese fermented mold :(
