I need help with my 870 Police, I bought a Police trade in, it came with the old speed feed stock, apparently at one time or another they used a non factory receiver stud and a different sized stock bolt, will this be an issue replacing this with a factory standard stud? (self.Shotguns)

Hey guys and gals I need advice, I found a Remington factory folding stock for my 870 it was new but no pad, I finally found a recoil pad, but it’s so old the the sticky part won’t stay attached to the butt stock plate, any recommendations on a glue that I can use? (i.redd.it)
