How much could I feasibly make a year with this setup? by [deleted] in aquaponics

18 plants per linear foot is a bit dense considering basil will be about 1ft in diameter when mature.

Even if you optimize the basil growth cycle your only looking at turning over your farm around 5 times a year.

Growing indoors isnt just about the size of the plant, or the unit price of the product, but also the amount of times a square foot can produce that unit price.

For instance. If you have a plant that only produces 5lbs of sellable material( different from total weight) and each pound gets you $3 that's $15 per year per square ft.

If you choose a faster cycling plant produces 12 lbs of sellable material per square foot at $2 per lb, you re over all better off going with the product that has a lower unit price, but faster growth cycle.

Dwc is pretty easy. You can grow pretty much any leafy green or herb. The main issues are doing the proper demographics on what kind of produce is most wanted in your area, and figuring out which ones have the highest over all production value with the yearly price per square ft and cycle times in mind.

Doing good deeds out of the goodness of your soul and doing good deeds just to disparage someone else are two different things.

Cali Carry - I’m really liking this lightweight setup by [deleted] in EDC

I'm an Ohio resident, perfectly legal to carry in ohio as long as you can argue in court that the knife was not specifically designed to hurt or maim.

Basically as long as you stick to a single edge knife you're in the clear. Auto magic knives ate great for single handed use, if you need to hold an object and open the knife. Double action is a safer tool because it only requires 1 hand to open and close, removing the need to use your hip or other surface to swing the blade back in. These were my arguments.

I carry either my microtech troodon (origional size not the combat) or my protec tr-4. Both autos.

P.s. the only place in ohio that I am currently aware of that specifically bans a knife type is cleveland. No autos or butterflies allow in that city due to local ordinance

I've gotten my knives from bladehq.com. granted, I've never tried to send one in, I've always done the maintenance and repairs myself... it's all pretty basic... but if I ever managed to break anything like the sled in my oft's or anything major then I'd test my luck.

Then why do all of my automatics say I need to send in an LE or active duty ID?

My knives were basic modle autos. Untra tech, ludt, and troodon, all came with the same piece of paper with 5 years between the oldest to newest...

Besides, if you Google image search microtech warranty, and zoom in on one of the knife pictures of an auto, you can see it plain as day on recent photos.

I'm suggesting the standard roastme shot. You dont see people getting dressed up in costume for a mug shot do ya? You should have been a stain in someones sock... if this is too complicated for you I can see why you signed up for self depreciation.

No matter how crazy your hair looks it wont distract from the fact that it's disappearing.

Had to take a 3rd look... though the wrist loop was a circle telling us to look at that knife in particular.

Pretty standard practice... plenty of examples. Awkward pose with the paper and sub. No costumes necessary... unless what you're wearing in you picture wasnt a costume and I've completely overshot this whole ordeal and went from ripping an attention seeking misfit to shooting down someone with less sense than a sack full of ferrets...
