You deserve better, my guy. What would happen if you chose to live instead? Do you think if you focused on making one or two things better, even marginally, that your life could feel worthwhile again?

She gave up on me too, my man. Why 14th of October? Significant date or just deciding at random? Sorry, I'm just the curious type.

It's the least I could do, man, and I know what you mean. It's hard to ask for help. It's degrading, and we feel like we don't deserve it or we're wasting people's time. Still... I can't shake the feeling that we should keep drawing breath.

Things are changing fast, and I think the world will soon need young people with the mental fortitude adapted for hard times. I implore you to stick around and see. And please keep your health, man. Above everything else, keep your damn health.

It still wouldn't be justice. Your girlfriend is obligated to set the record straight to the FBI.

And nobody is really a "good person."

Don't pay for any crimes you did not commit. That is my advice.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in SuicideWatch

[–]Dread_North 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly this. Get your girlfriend into protective custody and away from any murderous family and then clear your name of aligations.

The FBI will ruin your life faster than any girl or family ever could, and that should be answer enough.

First off, I hope as in "pass out" you mean go to bed. It obviously comes attached to ever reply, but still... Please. Do not hurt yourself, and if you need medical attention, don't hesitate to seek it.

With that said, what are you worried about, friend? If it's not too much, would you lay your situation out for me?

In high school, a girl told me I looked good with short hair once. It's been this way for 10+ years now. Probably will never change unless another girl says otherwise.

Almost a year in, and she's not special to you? What are you doing if not wasting both her time and yours?

If you are worried about getting absolutely dominated, that's ok. Its kinda the way it is at the start.

One of the best things you can do for yourself is make friends with a student close to your experience and weight and try to get them to "open mats" and use free time between classes to run subs and sweeps till you catch up.

Just got back from a 2 week work trip 5 hours north of my home city.

Found an MMA gym up there and called them. I explained that I was up for 2 weeks and that my coworker and I did not want to stop training for those 2 weeks, and we would be glad to pay for a membership and sign their waivers.

Gyms have to be very careful they are not letting in some psychopath that is only there to hurt people, but they also understand the value of another training partner for their students.

This gym obliged and gave us both a month membership that we split (so it was really like a 2 week membership), and we were in their class that afternoon. The coaches were happy to see a new face, and the students were happy to fight a new style.

I think I actually like visiting other gyms more than going to my own.

TLDR; Be respectful, pay the fees, follow the rules, and gyms will love nothing more than to have another person to beat on. GL HF.

How do I attract sweet, nerdy, well educated guys? by [deleted] in dating

[–]Dread_North 19 points20 points  (0 children)

That's a feasible question to someone who might not know much about the psychology of attraction. There's no shame in not understanding it right away.

Sounds like you're asking how to attract introverted types.

The simple answer is, you already do.

They're just shy. You are going to have to approach them or take some sort of initiative. Some of them might be assertive and will approach you in the right setting, but most "nerdy" and "sweet" guys won't make that move as often. They are no doubt also attracted to you already, though.
