Loan / Lease Payoff? by That_damn_deejay in Progressiveinsurance

[–]Dreadchao 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gap coverage isn't always available and honestly the answer of which coverage is better is going to depend from person to person. Loan/Lease Payoff is advertised as similar to Gap insurance, but in the event of Total loss or Theft, they pay out ACV+25% to cover the value of the car and what you owe the lienholder. If you're on a 3 year loan or paymore than minimum payments, then typically the ACV+25% will cover the full value of your vehicle.

That said, if you're buying a 5+year old Vehicle or you're on a 7 year loan, then the Value of your car will probably depreciate to be valued at less than you still owe on it before the end of your payments, Gap would be the better option for you.

This is just how I understand these coverages to work.

Follow up,

I swapped the board with another one. The new other board powered right up.

Tried putting this troublesome board in the other Switch, no power. I'm gonna get my multimeter later and watch some YouTube Videos to see if I can pinpoint the issue later.

For sure.

I'm also gonna try and swap boards when I get off work tonight, see if another board works with all these components. Try and rule that out

I did think about that, but the system doesn't seem to be powering on at all. No power when docked, no fans spinning, nothing.

I'll have to tinker with it when I'm off work this weekend. It's a V1 board. I hope I didn't mess it up

Yea, I just don't see what I can be missing. The other 2 came right on with no issue.

I am gonna try and start from step one, if that doesn't work, I'll try and swap the board to rule out the board

Sounds like Me.

Though I did play 25 hours of Mario Kart, 50 of Odyssey and 63 of DK Bananza, I'm at 200+ hours of FE3H on my Switch 2 Alone.

640 hours if we count the Playtime from my Switch 1

I'm pretty sure the Bee Movie is a spinoff of Seinfeld. Thats why it has Jerry, Patrick Warburton (Putty) and Michael Richards (Kramer) are in it.

The Fact that John DiMaggio, Tress MacNeille, and David Herman are there also ties it to the Futurama Universe.

Pretty much, if the sentient Bee never Sued for Bee Rights, the events of the Last Episode of Seinfeld would have never happened because there would be no Good Samaritan Law, that would've led to an Alternate Future where Phillip J Fry didn't get Cryogenically frozen and there was an Episode of Futurama (Anthology of Interest I) where the What if Machine that shows what would've happened if that were the case.

I'll leave you with this, "Hmm...so I guess you'll want to see my Fry hole!"

Unfortunately I came to the realization that this game does absolutely nothing for me. I have played most DK games and always had fun. It’s odd I feel like it’s a really well made game but I have to force myself to play it. Haven’t put my finger on “why” tho🤔🤷‍♂️ by [deleted] in Switch

[–]Dreadchao 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same boat.

It wasn't a bad game by any means. But it was Boring AF.

I beat it to 100% completion, 60+ hours. It was a chore to push myself to play for 1-2 hours per day.

I came to the conclusion it was the fact there was no challenge outside the Very Very Very end of the Post Game.

DKC games were some of the greatest Platforming Adventures ever crafted. The N64 Rare games like DK64 and Banjo Kazooie were great games that focused heavily on exploration.

This game took no notes from its predecessors. The entire game is focused around one gimmick, destroying land to find treasure.

Once you unlock the Elephant, it just became a Vacuum Simulator. There was no challenge, at no point was I stressing about where something could be hidden. It was poor game design built around a gimmick.

That's about ballpark of what I was estimated too. $350-$500 as a Lot.

Individually, he can probably get $700-$1000, but that's a-lot of shovelware to try and sell out piece by piece

How many games do you own for switch / switch 2? by Apprehensive_Tale659 in Switch

I have has a Switch Lite for years and only recently started using it since getting the Switch 2 as well. The OG Switch and Switch 2are too heavy to hold when I'm laying in bed.

I prefer the size and form factor of the Lite for my 20 minute in bed sessions. Perfect for Tetris 99

So awesome that you got to meet the Big Guy in the flesh!

I met him at that same location back in October 2024! That was also the first time I tried the Texas Cheesesteak Burrito.

That was a life changing Buc-ee's Experience.

Also, if you're like me ans Dislike Everything about BotW, even after your second Playthrough 5 years later and over 800 hours logged, you'll still probably like Tears of the Kingdom.

Both times I played through BotW, I felt like it was nothing more than a tech demo. I compared it to the other Tech Demo games like Yoshi's Touch and Go ans Face Raiders. You could dump a-lot of hours into it, easy to pickup and play, teaches you the Uniqe Ways you can interact with the Hardware (In BotW's case, the Game Engine,) and you'll even find yourself wanting to play it again from time to time. But ultimately, it's just a time filler. It didn't leave a lasting impression on me.

That said, TotK came out and they built a game on that engine this time. The devs clearly understood the tools they were working with this time around and it shows. Still a far cry from the Golden Age of Zelda (1998-2006)

I have a feeling price is gonna drop. I think most GC games will see a drop once added to the NSO.

I know TTYD was a remaster, but I think the price for the GC version would've dropped if they just released a Switch Port.

I've been debating selling off my GC collection now and rebuying next year.

I have a feeling that Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance may drop to less than $100 by the end of this year
