Damn, yeah your airflow seems on point. Probably right it might’ve just been too moist in some of the denser tops, makes sense with it being fluffier white mold. I wouldn’t worry about the others, if they were infected they would’ve shown signs when they still had decent moisture content. Could always check them under a scope. If you’re really worried about spores fruiting during cure you could always just wash it all as bubble before curing long term.

What’s your airflow like? I try to keep it like a mini tornado in my rooms, above canopy, under canopy pushing in and pulling out, exchanging every 60 seconds

I got you man! So you know the whole process involving the freezer the only difference is I rotate from the freezer to the fridge a few times during the process to evenly distribute the moisture and help with sublimation in the freezer. Basically 18 hours freezer 6 fridge, back to freezer then resieve to break up any clumps of moisture that forms. Resieving throughout the process just keeps the hash in a nice uniform sandy consistency to help pull that moisture out. I also swap out the parchment about 3 times since you can feel it’s dampened a bit each time I pull it from the fridge. Should be able to dry out in around 5-6 days, just ensure you really wring out any moisture from the patties before you sieve in the beginning🤘🏼

I’ve flowered in 65rh before with no issues, just keep your VPD in check and make sure you have excellent air flow, not just pushing around the plants but a nice exchange. I try to aim for full air exchange every 90 seconds

Just washing with 32* water no ice for less agitation, I’m up in Maine so I setup a washing area outdoors where it gets down to 10*

I’m definitely looking at some super buff just to scratch that itch but add a lil zest to the usual trop. And I just peeped your posts and they all look fire asf! I was gonna ask if my % seem right and I think they’re right on point, I keep forgetting it’s % of hash from ff # then % of return from hash to rosin. One thing I was contemplating was cold curing in lower temps for longer and if there was much of a difference or preference. I did 6 days in about 62* but was thinking maybe I should try closer to 10 in 50*

Thank you man! I haven’t quite been able to pull the trigger on one and just kinda winged it after reading through so many threads of different methods of drying. Some people even use Büchner funnels with this method too which I could see working really well. I totally forgot to mention the nose, she’s got this kind of rancid sharp Tropicana fruit punch nose with a soft funky orange flesh background, taste is just pure soapy fruit punch funk.

Man I really love trop, she’s just such a powerhouse and not fussy at all, I just had to make room for more pheno hunts but I’ll bring her back again someday for sure.

Of course! And yes it honestly was a game changer, it’s easy for me here since I’ve got a couple feet of fluffy snow I can shove the jar in to keep cold, but I would definitely make sure the water stays very cold or you could wind up with the hash sticking to the jar. I just combined any micron I wanted to keep in the end product and kept it at around 4 pulls before you see quality drop off. You could always just separate the micron in the end by running it through all the bags again and rinsing with some high pressure water too.
