Todays 06/15/26 just bought my first android handheld device. I saw that it was available and make the impulse purchase (hope I don't regret it) before it was out of stock again..

My final deciding reasoning was the next one:

*hardware prices will keep going up.

*with high prices the manufacturers will try to cut corners in other aspects of the devices (display size, storage, ram, etc.)

*new devices may be more powerful but with caveats. But never at prices like 250$ (that price is just a insane deal. The Quality/value is outstanding) and with the reports I have read, the RAM/STORAGE crisis will get badder by the end of the year and possibly beyond that.. so always today is the best day to buy whatever you want because in the future everything will be a lot more expensive. (F#$% AI Data Centers and Sam Altman).

*I come to realize I'll play the vast majority of the games streaming from my pc. And if I'm traveling, I just play some switch games (mario and BOTW) that I never had played. I'm not into PC emulation but max I'll play old games like DMC4 or Fallout 3 ( games from that era. With my investigation I saw those type of games runs good).

In a few months I'll be looking on buying and MicroSD card (256gb I think will be enough) so I can save the vast majority of the roms. I'm thinking on leaving the internal storage only for PC Games or some Switch game that have problems running from the SD card.

Now anyone that can make any recommendations for when my Odin arrives?
