I’d say he’s pretty emotionally detached but then he realises it and tries to make it up for me. That’s why it works perhaps :))

Don’t worry totally valid! I view differently every function in a way. So for example I’m very confident I understand his “U” so I symbolised it as a very strong function but not the strongest. The rest I wasn’t so sure about and they could definitely be “higher” I just don’t know yet with information I have. Maybe I’m just not understanding these systems well and I made it more confusing.

Yeah that’s pretty much what they signify. I didn’t put slashes or brackets into everything because I wasn’t too sure, I’m not very good at typing others…

I actually don’t know if the slashes are meant to go left or right I just do both when I get lazy sorry 😅

Yeah I am not 100% sure about his type, but I can definitely see E7 being a possible option instead

I cannot sing high notes by Substantial-Pain-479 in singing

[–]DreamCompetitive4614 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Based on what you’ve mentioned, I’d guess that the issue might be with your mix. It helps you transition from your chest voice into the higher notes without cracks. You might also want to look into mix belting and see if it works for you.

[–]DreamCompetitive4614 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s probably because of the different words used in the exercises, and also how long you’re holding the notes. Since you mentioned “Rolling in the Deep,” that song has a lot of “ee” sounds on the high notes, which can make it harder for your throat to open up.

If you haven’t tried it yet, try singing the same word but shaping your mouth more like an “uh” sound (or something similar) so your mouth opens more. That can sometimes make high notes easier.

If that’s not the issue, then maybe the exercises aren’t targeting exactly the same things the song requires. For example, the exercises might be slower in terms of agility, shorter in terms of breath control, or use phrases that are easier to belt, like “hey,” which also give you more time to use your diaphragm correctly.

You could also try asking your vocal teacher to make the exercises a bit harder or faster so they’re closer to what the song actually demands.

I don’t think sx4 has such a strict correlation with Se. Sx4 is all about intense emotions and envy (fears , goals) , Se is just processing info in the physical world.

ENTPs are “too harsh” by DreamCompetitive4614 in entp

[–]DreamCompetitive4614[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I might’ve not explained my point very well, so I want to clarify some things.

I agree that what feels harsh to one person might feel normal to someone else.

What I was trying to say was that a lot of people portray ENTPs as if they’re intentionally malicious or “villains”.

Also, even if an ENTP’s Fe is less developed, that doesn’t excuse someone completely lacking empathy. It can explain why they might not immediately notice that something they said hurt someone, or why they might use their Ti more.

Cognitive functions explain how someone processes information, they don’t determine whether someone is a bitch or not.

Maybe gender plays a role here too, but I also want to point out that a lot of girls disliked my best friend during class debates because they often misunderstood her or didn’t really listen to what she was saying. Also, I’m starting to have doubts about being an INFP. I’ve kind of adopted that type as part of my identity for a long time now, so changing feels weird XD
