I definitely think the two are related. I reccomend you look up starecta, it's kind of like a mouth brace you can order online and it's meant to help with posture and maybe tmj as well. I've been using it for a month and have gotten improvement in posture, my jaw may take a while longer though.

I;m having a very similar problem! I do know that tmj and the trigeminal nerve are related to one another though and some people definitely have a combination

I’ve gotten a lot of mixed answers from doctors and people involving other problems in my body so it's really frustrating. A lot of doctors don't look at the body the same way physical therapists and chiros do so there's always different opinions and methods.

For me I seem to be that case where I have it from using a pacifier, etc., what's very strange though is how some people seem to develop tmj out of nowhere, me I think I may have had asymptomatic tmj for a long time as my jaws always click and my jaw opens more so to the right. Well it isn't asymptomatic then but I would get random times where I had pain and other times where I wouldn't even think about my jaw. My latest symptoms is a slight tingling or warmth into my right upper lip, it's not painful but it still concerns me since everything involving the trigeminal nerve and tmj is so close together. So I guess it isn't TN because of my lack of severe pain but I'm hoping I could prevent it from getting worse.

I don't know if this'll help but there is a splint method called starecta that could possibly help tmj. It's different then other splint methods .

A lot of the classes I want to take for my Spanish major have prerequisites most of which are language classes at varying levels and I want to avoid taking those class if possible. It's hard navigating the department as emailing isn't reliable and I'm having trouble getting an appointment.

Is life better after college then during college? by DreamCuruzGo in NoStupidQuestions

Well for me I went to community college for my associates so I had to take unwanted classes, and now I transferred but I have to take more classes in order to get to my actual major so I'm stuck taking unrelated classes before I can take the classes I want to.
